Excellent location, free parking, superb hosts, clean room, wonderful breakfast (homemade bread with freshly cooked mushrooms, home roasted coffee, tea, apple-ginger juice) - everything was simply excellent! Highly recommended.

I had a brilliant stay at 68 Cumberland Road. I had a lovely warm welcome from Jacqui and Teasel the adorable lurcher. Unfortunately Jerry was away for the weekend. Jacqui offered me a cup of tea as soon as I had arrived which was most welcome, after a somewhat hectic journey. She also was very kind to let me check in earlier as I had an appointment at certain time, which was much appreciated. Teasel is such a lovely dog and loves to be stroked and is very friendly, and will love you forever for you make a fuss of her. The house is brilliant and I had the front bedroom, with a lovely comfy bed, and the river is just across the road from the house, with lovely walks along the river very close by! The loo and shower room were right next to the bedroom but they are shared with the family, with a very nice state of the art shower!!! Downstairs there is a large kitchen which leads onto the terrace with views over the docks and the restaurants not that far away. It is within a short walking distance for all the restaurants etc. I thoroughly recommend a stay here, you won't regret it, and a very reasonable price too!!

Jerry and Jacqui were excellent hosts! They are very friendly and communication before we arrived was very quick and informative. They gave us some great advice on places to visit around Bristol. They also cooked us a delicious breakfast both mornings! The house is great and very arty and interesting. Bed was comfy! It's a couple of minutes walk from some new restaurants and an organic supermarket, and very easy walking distance from the city centre. And we can't fail to mention their adorable dog Teasel, who was very affectionate! Excellent stay.

Jerry & Jacqui’s home was a wonderful introduction to Bristol. I came for the local puppetry festival at Puppet Place. I stayed in the small room, and it was perfect for the purpose of my visit and was easy within walking distance of everything. Jerry & Jacqui were excellent hosts and lovely people to get to know. Thank you so much!

Spacious, warm friendly family home. Quirky touches as you expect in Bristol and great location.

The house is very nice and well located, close to a lot of nice shops and restaurants. Jerry and Jacqui are very helpful and communicative. Although we spent only one night there, we felt as at home. If we visit again Bristol in the future, we will come back with them.

I was a TV Director, now I am writing my first novel, play guitar, present a weekly radio show, and co present a Podcast called the Rouf n Jerry show. All unpaid, but great fun . My partner Jacqui, is a Food Sustainability Consultant. We love good food, music and the cinema but not necessarily all at the same time. Our religious views are that you can see Bristol Cathedral from our back garden.
