Interaction with Guests
Your hosts, Renata & Larry are onsite "next door". We have an open door policy- please stop by for a coffee or glass of wine. We are happy to help you plan your day trips, and hear about your adventures.
This area is so lovely. The sounds of nature, bird singing, beautiful vistas, and quiet farmland make staying here a joy. There is no traffic, and this area is less busy with Tourist compared to the Sarlat area. We recommend visiting there, but then return here to relax!
A car is essential for this area. All the amazing sites of the Dordogne region are easy to reach with car. Small country roads make driving easy.
Your fully equipped house is for you to enjoy. The house is non smoking, and you are asked to leave it tidy, but final cleaning is included. We ask that you take your rubbish to the bins, and recycle.
Enjoy yourself and relax!
Renata & Larry were exceptional hosts and we were happy with everything about our stay - ideal location, sparkling clean cottage, lovely garden, and many thoughtful details. It exceeded our expectations. We consider ourselves lucky to have stayed in this lovely French cottage and to have met our delightful hosts. We highly recommend the cottage, and look forward to returning.
We had a great time at Larry's house. It was quiet and peaceful and a perfect place to recharge mid way into our travels. The market town of Sarlat was a easy drive and there was plenty to do and see in and around the area. The figs and walnuts straight from Larry's trees were an added (and delicious) bonus! Larry himself was a warm and gracious host with a wealth of knowledge about the attractions in his region. Highly recommend a stay there if you are passing his way.
