The yurt is placed in a private corner of our 30 acre organic farm. Our farm borders the Willamette River and we have riverfront property that is easily walked to in about 3 minutes from the yurt. We are lucky as there are no houses or signs of development anywhere down by the river, so it feels like one is many miles from town!

Guests can go to the river, walk our new conservation project or just enjoy life on the farm. The yurt is "glamorous camping" and is best for outdoorsy types.

The space
Come and experience a retreat on our organic farm just 10 minutes from Beltline Highway in the Santa Clara/River Road area in north Eugene. You will have your own space right in a corner of our farm overlooking a pond and a wild restoration area. The river is a short 3 minute walk away where you can sit and relax or go swimming on our sandy beach. The yurt is on our 30 acre organic farm and is "glamorous camping" at it's best! You will have lots of privacy and quiet, you can walk our back acres which are teeming with birdlife, or you can visit the working part of our farm.

The yurt is only four years old! It has its own space in a private corner of our farm. It is furnished with a queen sized bed with a trundle bed underneath. The yurt's dining table, fully stocked kitchen cabinet and propane 2 burner stove will enable you to do your own cooking. Solar energy provides lighting and there is an inverter for charging, an Ipod player or using a laptop.

There is an outdoor bathroom/shower house (composting toilet and propane fueled hot shower) and a deck for outdoor cooking or just relaxing as you watch the birds and wildlife. The yurt can be heated in cooler weather with a propane fueled heater that is equipped with safety devices for use in the yurt.

The swimming hole on the property is easily walked to and you are free to walk our 30 acres or come lend a hand in the farm work! Bicycles and a river kayak are available for rent. Guests may also canoe/raft/kayak to the property and do some exploring of Green Island (across the river) in their spare time.

The yurt and area have been hand built by the owner. Every effort has been made to keep the area natural, organic and green. The farm is located on a flyway, so there's lots of birdlife for the watching.

Well behaved dogs on a leash are welcome for an extra $10 a day. Extra tents may be put up easily on the site for an extra charge. Please discuss with property owner.

Fresh organic smoothies, kombucha, eggs and farm produce available upon request.

This property is for people who want to relax/rejuvenate and who appreciate nature.

Guest access
Guest have their own private spot overlooking a pond and beautiful acreage and will have access to the rest of the property, which is shared.

There is an uninhabited island across the river from our property and a walk in county park to the north, so even though we are minutes away from downtown Eugene, it seems like you are far out of town as there are no houses or development to be seen from the river. There is a swimming hole (undeveloped) on our property...it is on the main branch of the Willamette, so families with small children may choose to visit the park at the end of the road where there is a smaller branch.

Other things to note
This property is "rustic", there is no electricity - it is solar powered. It is for guests who enjoy nature and have done some camping (it is luxury camping!). There are 3 gates to open as we have 15 horses on the property.

Hi, we are Shaundele, Ryan and Levi (mother and sons). We own and run a small family organic farm and horse stables in Eugene. We have lived and worked overseas and travelled extensively, so we know what our kind of travelers want! Shaundele is an outdoor enthusiast, does yoga, meditates, and is a vegan. Our farm is a haven for the horses that live here, along with the turkeys, chickens, cats, dogs and a variety of wildlife which make this their home also. This listing is for those who appreciate the beauty of the outdoors and wildlife and especially if you desire some quiet time. We love to share this piece of land we are privileged to own with those who appreciate it.
