Could not be perfect! The host was very kind and welcoming, and the room was very pretty. It was extremely clean and the bed was a cocoon! I also like the no shoe policy!
Wow! My first time using airbnb, and my stay was wonderful. My hosts, Lina and William guided me every step of the way-perfect hosts. Clean, cozy, and comfortable. Nice fluffy towels-not like the bleach-burnt ones at super 6 and econo 8. I may never stay at a motel again! Good pizza and beer right around the corner. 7-11 not too far away. Don't miss the Tin Shed on Alberta for breakfast. Lots and lots of unique shops and eateries all around. I loved it.
The house was very easy to find....not far from I5 and very near to the Alberta Abbey when I was going to a meeting. The host was very welcoming. I asked for recommendations for a restaurant, and she gave me directions to one she really likes. It was great. The sleeping room and bathroom were impeccably clean, and the house was very quiet.
Lina was a great host! She was super sweet! The room and the bathroom where both super clean. The bed was really comfortable as well. The neighborhood is really close to a few bars and brunch places too. It's also just 5-10 min drive from downtown Portland. I would definitely recommend staying here!
Great place to stay in Portland - easy access to I5 to go to Hayden Island or downtown. Comfortable bed, nice hosts, husband worked at the desk in the room and I was able to work at the kitchen table at night. No complaints! Thanks for hosting us!
I've had a delightful time here! Hosts are warm, accommodating & great company! My room is in the front with bath next door, so a bit to itself away from other bedrooms & living area in the back - but when I want company I can lounge in the living/dine area to chat, eat & play. The area is accessible to more trendy neighborhoods (I walked easily to Mississippi/Williams & Alberta district) and Elevated Coffee is just around the corner. Bus routes are close by & of course MLK Jr. Blvd gives easy access for those with cars. I have felt quite at home here & would certainly stay again.

If you are wondering about wheter or not you should host us, then let me tell you a little bit of us. We have just recently moved to Mexico, and before that, we lived in Portland,OR for about four years, I (Maria) am from Colombia, and Oliver is German-italian, born in Germany, but he has lived longer in Italy and soon longer in the USA than in Germany.
We are a fun couple, we love spending time with friends and family (when it is possible). We enjoy making new friends, getting to know people; we consider ourselves World Citizens and we highly value different cultures, foods, and lifestyles. Of course we love eating delicious food and traveling. :)
