I've had a delightful time here! Hosts are warm, accommodating & great company! My room is in the front with bath next door, so a bit to itself away from other bedrooms & living area in the back - but when I want company I can lounge in the living/dine area to chat, eat & play. The area is accessible to more trendy neighborhoods (I walked easily to Mississippi/Williams & Alberta district) and Elevated Coffee is just around the corner. Bus routes are close by & of course MLK Jr. Blvd gives easy access for those with cars. I have felt quite at home here & would certainly stay again.
The listing review is accurate, and the room provided was immaculately clean and quiet. For what we wanted and at this reasonable price, the accommodations were perfect.
Lovely place in a really safe neighberhood. Clean room, nice bed and bathroom! The best place to stay if you are visiting portland!
Lina was a great hostess! She was very easy to get in touch with, and very accommodating. The house was in a great location, and everything was very clean and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again, and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy oasis in Portland. Thanks again, Lina!
Lina (and Willy) were WONDERFUL hosts. Lina, the sister of Maria takes great pride in providing a positive and welcoming experience for her guests. Willy, Lina's roommate, was also very welcoming and generous. He makes GREAT cocktails! The house was immaculate and the neighborhood darling. The location was a perfect launching pad to explore the city by foot, bike or car (we brought our bikes and easily explored Portland). I would definitely stay with them again and I would encourage anyone looking to explore Portland to consider this delightful home!
Lina was a very kind hostess. The house seemed to be pretty new. The rooms and everything was very clean and our room was cozy. I would highly recommend staying at Lina's place.

If you are wondering about wheter or not you should host us, then let me tell you a little bit of us. We have just recently moved to Mexico, and before that, we lived in Portland,OR for about four years, I (Maria) am from Colombia, and Oliver is German-italian, born in Germany, but he has lived longer in Italy and soon longer in the USA than in Germany.
We are a fun couple, we love spending time with friends and family (when it is possible). We enjoy making new friends, getting to know people; we consider ourselves World Citizens and we highly value different cultures, foods, and lifestyles. Of course we love eating delicious food and traveling. :)
