Live in comfort like a local in the heart of one of Auckland's coolest suburbs.
3 weeks minimum stay. Room only available from September 20th until October 20th.
Light and airy room available in a beautiful, recently renovated villa in Grey Lynn. Within walking distance of a supermarket, dairy, liquor store and some of the best cafes and restaurants in Auckland, you will be well placed to explore the city.
You will have access to the whole house - a bathroom and separate toilet, big sunny kitchen - perfect for cooking - and two big lounge areas. We also have a great backyard which is lovely when sunny.
Interaction with Guests
Also living in the house are three easy-going (website hidden) in their late twenties - early thirties. They are sociable and love to chat, but happy to leave you in peace if you prefer to do your own thing.
Treat my home like you would treat your own.
I stayed at Helen's house for nearly a month. Though she had to catch a plane next day, she still managed to pick me up on the first day, which was a lot easier for me with all my luggage. The move in was smooth and she even printed out an guest introduction to make everything clear. Premium location with bars and restaurants along the trendy Ponsonby Road, 1 minutes walk to the bus stop, just one short stop to take you to the city. One thing I must mention about the house is the sun lit open kitchen, very well equipped, has everything you needed to make a big meal during your stay. A spacious lounge area to hangout with the other roommates, which are super nice and a big plus during the stay. Helpful and great fun to be with.
I wish I could stay longer. Totally Recommended！！
It is a great place with really nice flatemates! I can recommend this room to everyone.
Good location in the city. The house is clean and cosy, fully equiped, and the (website hidden) are very nice. I would totally recommend to stay there if you come to Auckland.
Staying at Helens place was fantastic. It's super convenient to the city, to K' Road, to Grey Lynn shops, to Ponsonby.
The lovely housemates were a really great treat to be around, young professional go-getters, happy to chat, happy to ferment cheese, helpful for tips and advice of places to go and things to do.
I didn't meet Helen but all the communication leading up to my stay was quickly responded, very helpful, wonderfully friendly.
I'm a kiwi in my mid-twenties. I love good food, music and friends. I love the beach and the sun. I spend my time scoping out the best cafes, meeting new and interesting people and working during the day as a software engineer.
I've done a little bit of travelling but I'm looking forward to doing much more.
Life is to be lived!
