An amazing little jewel tucked in the beautiful quaint village of Rosseau. The home is bursting with charm and character. A very spacious, clean, comfortable and serene oasis for our weekend getaway just a two minute walk from the lake. Our hosts were extremely accommodating and thoughtful in many, many details. Lights were left on throughout the house, a welcoming note was there to greet us and notes on important details we would need to know in regards to the house and helpful tips on our village surroundings. Our experience was flawless from booking, to having our questions answered in a timely fashion pre arrival, to accommodating our very late arrival, to checking in on us to make sure everything was as we expected and we were comfortable during our stay, while at the same time respecting our privacy. We absolutely did not lack in any of the assumed comforts one would expect when away from home. We have been going up to the Muskokas for 38 years and we have stayed at various accommodations ranging from renting cottages when the children were younger, to hotels, to high end resorts and I have to say our weekend in Rosseau was amongst the most memorable and certainly worth coming back forth. Nothing can measure up to the personal touch our hosts provided. We have always visited and loved the little village of Rosseau and now we are really excited and grateful we have found " a home away from home".
Our host contacted us a few times to discuss arrival times and where we could find a key for the house.
The house was charming and large and the neighbourhood was nice.
Great house! We spent most of our time on the large and comfortable screened in porch which was lovely. The house is very pretty, clean and tidy. The kitchen is adequately equipped with all we needed to cook our meals. The bedrooms upstairs are gorgeous with comfortable mattresses and a clean modern bathroom. The property is right in town so we were able to walk to the small beach, the general store and antique stores. It was a perfect weekend get-a-way in a tastefully and thoughtfully renovated historic home. We chose the right place to just get cozy and relax.

Travelling family with three kids and a dog.
We spend as much time as possible in Canada, France & England. We love the outdoors, skiing, cycling, yoga, creating cozy spaces to unwind and relax, but also love visiting cities whenever we have the opportunity. We try and use airbnb to travel with our family whenever possible.
