We absolutely loved Coral's place. It was in a perfect location, with just a quick drive to Hanalei Bay. The space feels like a hotel set up with a joined courtyard with pool and hot tub. There is a staircase that leads up to the private room; you will feel total privacy. We loved the architecture and - honestly - the only negative was that Coral was out of town during our visit and we did not get a chance to meet her. We're missing it already!

If youre looking for a relaxing, quiet getaway in the BEST location in Princeville, this is it! We enjoyed our stay for our babymoon very much. Coral even had fresh local fruits for a warm welcome. How special!

We really enjoyed our stay! Coral and Ian were very kind and helpful whenever we had questions. They had snorkel gear, boogie boards, beach towels and even fresh fruit from their garden. The property is beautiful, unique and in a great area! We walked to queens bath and to the cliffs to watch the sunset. It’s also really close to the Coast for hikes and to great snorkeling beaches!

Coral and Ian are a lovely couple! Coral was very easy to communicate with and allowed us to check in a little early which really made things easy and convenient. Their place was awesome! Literally just steps from Queen’s bath. Every morning we would get up and do a hike then shoot down to Queen’s bath to cool off. Perfect way to start a day on the North Shore. We found their place very clean, comfortable, and relaxing. Coral made it very clear, if we need anything just ask. Which made us feel very at home and welcome in their beautiful home (which Ian designed and built by the way). The spa was perfect to soak in after a day of adventuring on the North Shore. The vibe is ZEN and a place I could stay for an extended time! Overall we loved their place and will be back again!

When we picked a place to stay for the second half of our honeymoon we did extensive research and settled upon an airbnb. Specifically, this one due to the glowing reviews. In fact, we stayed at an incredibly nice resort in Poipu prior to moving up north and were more excited for the stay at Bali Hai. Unfortunately, we did not have such a fantastic stay and prior to going into detail I should also note that we were aware of all of the house rules, lack of A/C, reviews about the bed, etc. I literally read every single one of the prior reviews. I will start by saying that the residence is easily accessible and in a wonderful location. Parking is easy, the pool was clean and kept at a comfortable temperature and the balcony was wonderful for relaxing in the morning. We did not do any cooking during our stay but there are plenty of portable tools (toaster, hot plate, coffee maker, mini fridge, microwave) available for use. Coral left a welcome basket containing bananas, avocado and a few other treats as well as a bouquet of fresh flowers - all were a nice touch. We visited in mid-september and on the first night found the room to be entirely too hot to fall asleep. There were three fans in the residence: one ceiling and two portable. The ceiling fan is only usable when the light is on and only one of the two portable fans worked so it was very stuffy that first night. In an effort to keep the room more cool on the second day we kept all windows and doors open, as recommended, but left both fans running. However, I received an email that night asking for us to "observe house rules" and keep the fans and lights off while we were out. When we came home, someone had turned off the fans (and light) and rendered the room stuffy again. I personally found it a bit unsettling to have someone else come uninvited into the room. The next day we were brought a second fan to use that night which definitely helped cool the room down a bit. I have honestly never slept in a bed more firm than the one in this room. Bed firmness is a personal preference but I did not find it to be comfortable. My husband likes a firm bed and even he found it too hard. I will say that the pillows were very comfortable. Now before I go into what really upset us I will say that, even before the below happened, I would not have recommended this airbnb nor state there again as I left feeling the opposite of relaxed, hot and sleep deprived. That being said, I was going to hold off an leaving a review as I found Coral and Ian generally sweet AND leaving bad reviews (really any confrontation in general) makes me feel uncomfortable. However, four days after our stay ended...
