We had a really amazing time staying with Coral on our honeymoon and especially enjoyed our breakfasts on the balcony outside. The place was clean and quiet and a real retreat. And Queen's Bath is just around the corner - a wonderful place to take an afternoon dip or watch the sun set.
Asia House was a lovely, quiet house in a perfect location, right across the street from a jungle-y path by a rushing stream that led to the Queen's Bath and the ocean. The room was spacious and clean, with a view of the sea and the mountains, and a relaxing deck where you could eat dinner or just lounge on a window seat. Owner Coral Miles was very attentive, and the room was filled with thoughtful touches, such as reading books about Kauai, DVDs to watch, and extra grocery staples you didn't have to buy. I loved it - I stayed a week and could have stayed a month.
Come here if you would like to enjoy a tranquil and special home in Princeville, Kauai. What a wonderful experience staying at the Asia House with Coral Miles. The ambiance and landscape was beautiful. watch the variety of birds come to feed right before your eyes: doves and cardinals. The apartment was adorable with a wonderful place to sit and enjoy the afternoon or dine on your private balcony. The fully equipped side kitchen area had everything we needed and was very well appointed. We were very comfortable. Our thanks to our hosts Coral and her husband Ian for making our stay memorable. This was a perfect spot for our visit to Kauai: beaches, restaurants and nice walking very close to the house…much Aloha to you Coral and Ian, we will be back.
I found this a very peaceful, tranquil place to stay. The Queens bath was only a short walk away. Everything I needed for my room stay was provided. It is in a very upscale, safe neighborhood. Enjoy!
Coral's Asia House was located in a beautiful planned community on Kauai's north shore. The location was ideal and, in my opinion, the most beautiful part of the island. Privacy was lacking and the room was quite stuffy. Locals claim that ac is not warranted in Kauai, and I would tend to agree as long as the trade winds are strong, but since they were not on the days we stayed and since this is a second story walk up, it is a must for guest comfort. The owner was friendly and accommodating.
Beautiful Architecture and perfectly placed for Queens Bath. As rookie travelers with our 2 year old we realized the studio setup is a little tough on everybody. The $160/night seems a little high. Coral and Ian were great hosts and extremely helpful with sharing information and providing a fan and Pack & Play to help with our son :). The Lanai was beautifully positioned.
