You will be thrilled with Kauai if you like deserted beaches, many navigable rivers, fantastic foliage, incredible scenery, and the best hiking trails in the islands! See some links on the website below. The ocean or Queen's Bath is right across the street, a top destination on Kauai. It is a natural lava pool. There are beaches all over Princeville, most within 1-2 miles; Hideaways Beach, Sandpiper Beach, the (email hidden)gis Hotel, Turtle Cove, and the beach at the Wyndham. A (website hidden) map can probably give you some idea of their locations.
There is a pool and hot tub in the private walled courtyard and an outdoor shower. Access 9am -9pm. There is lawn and gardens, bridge and koi pond in back of the house.
Interaction with Guests
We love meeting our guests, sharing travels, and giving advice about interests on Kauai.
Princeville is a development of some 500 acres on the north shore of Kauai, between the towns of Hanalei and Kilauea. What started as a coffee plantation in the mid-1800s is now the largest planned development on Kauai. Princeville is home to some of the finest resorts, golf courses and restaurants on the islands. Kauai’s north shore is also where you’ll find some of the most spectacular scenery in Hawaii. There are three main beaches in Princeville, which are Kenomene Beach, Kaweonui Beach and Puu Poa Beach. A wide reef along these beaches creates warm pockets for swimming and snorkeling in calm weather. Other area activities include tennis, golf, windsurfing, kayaking, fishing, sailing, helicopter tours and shopping. You can arrange for a private guided jungle hike, waterfall excursion or kayaking adventure.
It is just about a mile to the Kauai Bus stop at the shopping center.

We had a wonderful stay at the Asia House! The place felt very much like a vacation guesthouse, with its own separate entrance, bathroom, and mini kitchen. The place was clean, and sheets and bedding smelled freshly laundered.
Ian and Coral were very welcoming and were very accommodating of our asks. Coral even let us use their washer/dryer after we had dirtied some clothes from hiking.
We would definitely consider staying again!
Coral and Ian's home was the perfect place to experience Kauai. The house itself is peaceful and clean. We appreciated the great balcony to sit outside and enjoy breakfast, the pool which we felt welcome to use and a comfortable bed. The location was also ideal -- easy to get to the beach or Hanalei easily, or visit Queen's Bath right in their backyard. Although we weren't around the house most days, Coral and Ian were always friendly and accommodating, providing us with anything we needed and happy to provide suggestions. Would gladly stay here again!
We decided to book our accommadation in Kauai as we went, we booked with Coral last minute and thankfully she was very flexible in accepting our request on the night before. Asia house is a beautiful property in a wonderful neighbourhood and it was very easy to find by car. We had our own entrance to the studio and felt comfortable coming and going as we pleased. Coral and Ian were really friendly and were happy to offer advice on things to do in the area. The mini kitchen has everything needed to prepare basics snacks and meals. The studio was clean and well cared for. There is no air conditioning but this really did not matter with the door open and the portable fan running, we did not overheat. I would definitely reccomend this to other travellers who want to experience another side of the island away from tourists and the typical resort lifestyle. Thanks for the great stay Coral and Ian!
Staying with Coral and Ian was wonderful. The room was excellent and comfortable and the amenities like the pool and hot tub were great after a long day of exploring the island. The location in Princeville is excellent, with Queen's Bath just across the street and Hanalei (and the entire North Shore) accessible via a short and very scenic drive.
We'd absolutely stay here again.
Coral and Ian were fantastic hosts! They were extremely welcoming, with a list of helpful tips and things to do. The upstairs studio was quaint and more than met our needs (the kitchenette was especially helpful in that we went to the store and made breakfast just about everyday). The hot tub was nice as was the entryway with the pool and beautiful flowers. Along with the nice fruit basket, we were able to pick available fruit in the backyard. It's an excellent place to stay in a quiet neighborhood, especially if you want to avoid a hotel setting. I would definitely stay here again!
We had such a wonderful time staying at Coral & Ian's home. They are such kind people and have made us feel so welcome in their space. We loved the view from the room, the firm bed, the soft pillows, the hot tub, being right next to the queen's bath. The only problem is that we didn't book are whole trip here :)
