Description

The space

The location is very private and quiet with great hiking, biking, or snowshoeing right from the front door. It's off-the-beaten-path, but well worth the drive to experience the true Vermont. The sun-filled kitchen overlooking the yard is the perfect place to have a cup of coffee or tea. There is also a room on the second floor for additional guests at $45/night.

Guest access

Guests will have access to the full house including living room with wood stove, a full bath and kitchen.

Interaction with guests

I love to share my enthusiasm for southern Vermont with guests and will provide a breakfast with eggs, baked goods and fresh fruit.

The neighborhood

My favorite aspect to living in Halifax is the rural setting and, of course, the river! This is a wonderful area for prime foliage viewing. And when the snow falls, you can snowshoe right from the front door!

Other things to note

Please note that currently there is no internet available. So sorry...

I enjoy being active, whether it's traveling around the country or just going for a run or hike around my house. Weekdays I am at a local middle/high school teaching Health and Family & Consumer Science. Weekends I am usually working in the garden or enjoying the best that southern Vermont has to offer. I feel truly blessed to live in such a beautiful and charming area, and enjoy sharing it with guests.
