Cool penthouse in trendy Nørrebro.
Very bright and attractive apartment, situated on the fifth floor in one of the nicest buildings in the area. The apartment is located on the charming square, Sankt Hans Torv in the heart of the trendy area of Nørrebro.
The apartment is 62 m2 and consists of one bedroom, with a queen size bed, a living room/kitchen and a spacious bathroom.
The apartment is overlooking the beautiful rooftops of Copenhagen, and just outside the door, the streets are filled with trendy cafes, great shopping possibilities, vintage shops, restaurants, coffee bars, wine bars, galleries, etc.
Feel free to write and ask any questions.
(our recommendations from 2011 are from when the apartment wasn't totally renovated, as it is now :)
Peter & Maria
I had a wonderful week staying at Maria and Peter's apartment. It is a lovely light filled apartment located close to lots of funky restaurants and bars. Maria was really helpful in making my stay stress free. I will definetly be trying to rent the apartment on my next visit.
Maria's apartment was lovely - just as advertised. Great view from the high windows, bright & clean as could be, great shower, very comfortable double bed, with all the space and conveniences needed for a 10 day stay. We have stayed in other Copenhagen apartments and this one was the best.. We would definitely stay here again.
Barbara and John Baziotis -
We loved Maria's apartment. The location, in trendy Norrebro, is fantastic. You can easily walk or catch a bus to the city centre (one of the airport buses stops around the corner too) but there's also a wide choice of bars, restaurants and shops on the doorstep.
The bedrooms are both a good size (event the single room could easily fit a double bed), as is the open-plan living room / kitchen area. As you can see in the photos, the design is very minimalist, which in a way makes the place feel more like a hotel than a home, which isn't necessarily a bad thing.
The kitchen is well equipped and Maria provided nice clean linen for the comfortable beds (the only thing we missed was a hairdryer - should have checked and brought our own). She also went out of her way to meet us when we arrived (even thought it was ridiculously early in the morning!) and arranged for a space to store our bags until the couple staying the night before had checked out.
I can wholeheartedly recommend a stay here but beware: it's not the place for anyone with health problems or sizeable luggage as the apartment is on the top floor of a building with no elevator (six flights of stairs if I remember correctly) - great for views and exercise but anyone with trouble walking would really struggle to get up those stairs.
All in all, a great experience. We'll be looking to stay again when we're next in Copenhagen.
Great apartment and location. Maria was very kind and showed us where to go and what to do in the city. I suggest this accomodation to young people and young couple.
Great apartment, perfect for 1 person or a couple. The location really can't be beat! Maria was great, she made it really easy for me to pick up the key, gave me all the info I needed, and that was that! The only thing that could be a drawback would be the 6 floor walk-up, but hey, the view is worth it!
The host canceled my reservation 13 days before arrival, with no explanation.
