The Space

In the very historic center of the city as known as the Quadrilatero Romano.
In the last 15 years the Quadrilatero Romano has been raised, togheter with the Murazzi del Po (a very suggestive walk along the embankment of the Po river) the center of Turin night life.
Not only nightspots but also lots of new varied restaurants opened next to the historical and typical ones.
The open-air-market of Porta Palazzo, in Piazza della Repubblica, the biggest in Europe, reachable on foot, is placed just out of the Porta Palatina, the ruin of one of the four acces ways of the ancient town around which a little archeological park has been recently created.
The apartment is 100mt to the pedestrian precinct Via Gribaldi (which perspective has been designed by the 18th century architect Juvarra, that also made the Basilica of Superga and Palazzo Madama which Via Garibaldi leads to) the Turin main commercial street togheter with Via Roma.
To reach the Mole Antonelliana (seat of the Museum of Cinema) it takes about 10 min on foot.
Palazzo Madama in Piazza Castello is the seat of the Museum of ancient Art and next to it there's the Savoia's Royal Palace and the Duomo (the cathedral) with its Guarino Guarini's baroque dome.
From there you can even easily reach the Egyptian Museum (about 400mt) and Palazzo Carignano of Guarino Guarini (Museum of the Risorgimento and seat of the first italian parliament) around which has just been opened a new pedestrian precinct, Via Lagrange street (another big commercial street that leads to the railway station of Porta Nuova).

Interaction with Guests

As much as possible my wife Viviana and me always meet our guests to make their acquaintance, chat a little and give them useful advices. If we're not able to we put it into the hands of a very nice, chatty and multilingual friend of ours, Cristina
Check-in after 21:30 is possible under payment of an extracharge of €20

House Rules
