  • Great location; a warm and cosy flat; and even room to entertain a few guests. The set-up is really friendly, and if you can't afford the flat definitely consider staying in one of the rooms upstairs.

You are only a short walk from Parliament, as well as the City Farm and good walks and cycling along the river... the beach is only 20 minutes away by bicycle, as is the CN Tower.

  • We arrived to the apt earlier than the check in time and were most pleased it was ready for us. The apt is spacious, with much room for storage. It is conveniently located on a tree lined street which is so quiet but close to public transport. We stayed for a week at the apt and did not want to leave as it was perfect.

  • I stayed for a weekend during TIFF. It was exactly what the website listed. The street is super quiet and safe but also in walking distance of groceries, coffee (Starbucks and Tim Hortons), drug stores etc. Easy access to transit. If you are so inclined downtown is in walking distance. My room was ready early, which was a bonus as my flight arrived early...thanks so much for that! I would stay again. I even did a load of laundry the night before I left.

  • We enjoyed our stay in Cabbagetown at this apartment. Vicky was most helpful and kept in contact prior to, and when we arrived, making sure that everything was ok. Being located in the basement, there is a bit of noise from people walking around upstairs and it can be a bit dark even though there are small windows. The apartment contained everything to make our stay comfortable the kitchen was well stocked, the use of the laundry was a bonus. It is located in a lovely tree lined street and is within walking distance of Parliament Street's bars, restaurants, grocery stores etc etc.

  • What a great location and it was nice to have an entire apartment in downtown Toronto for a reasonable price. The place was really nice and Vicki was very helpful before and during the trip to make sure everything was set up, including information on setting up parking and all of that. I had no problems and enjoyed a great vacation here!

The only thing is I'd suggest remembering is that it's a basement so there are some little spots (near the TV and the fridge) to be careful of if you're >6 ft tall.

  • Great place to stay at. All extras like washing machine, diswasher and the interior looks very nice. Help was there when needed and the way it was all handled: very professional. All in all: high standard for low price.

  • I stayed at this Cabbage Town apartment for an entire month and I found it to be perfect for my needs. The apartment was fully stocked (kitchen amenities, towels and bedding), had wifi, was in close reach to public transportation and convieniently located close to a variety of shops (baker, butcher, coffee shops, no frills, Rexal, Tim Hortons) and several resturaunts. The staff were also very helpful and quick to respond to queries. Many thanks!

  • Residential and quiet area in a street with nice Victorian style houses. Walking distance from shops, transit and services.
Nice 1 bdr basement studio with modern lay out . Fully equiped kitchen with private access to laundry room. Flat screen TV on the wall and a spacious living room with nice couch. Small but very clean bathroom. A very comfy queen bed with clean sheets and blanket, spacious closet. A nice place to stay and relax.
