We will be available and responsive via phone, text and email throughout your stay here if you need anything.
Mission Terrace is a quiet, friendly neighborhood. 3/4 mile or less to many good restaurants (pizza, sushi, crepes, Chinese, Mexican, Salvadoran), supermarket, cafes, swimming pool, sports fields and a beautiful, recently remodeled playground.
Extremely convenient to all types of public transit:
- 3 blocks to J-Church train which goes to downtown, Noe Valley and The Castro.
- 1/2 mile to Balboa Park BART station which takes you to downtown SF in 20 minutes and all the way to SF Airport, Oakland, Berkeley and beyond in 35 minutes.
Other Things to Note
We have a very timid cat, Murphy who hides in the basement when guests are here. Even guests with cat allergies have not been bothered by his presence in the house.
If you stay 6 or 7 days, you'll receive the weekly rate of $1800, saving $150-$475 compared to the nightly rate or $325/night for 5 days.
We love Ethan's house and had a wonderful stay there. Here's our comment:
Location: a nice and quiet neighborhood within a walking distance to a children's park. Close to highways and within short distance drive to major SF attractions.
The house: nicely decorated. A very cozy and warm house. Ethan was generous enough to offer us the use of everything in the house, including his pantry items. We felt like staying at our own vacation home. The house has a sizable and clean backyard, perfect for a morning coffee or afternoon cocktails.
The host: Ethan and his family left the house very clean and organized. He left many useful instructions and information regarding SF and his neighborhood. We felt welcome.

We have two daughters, ages 11 and 8. We love outdoor activities, animals and good food--especially anything containing chocolate. Though new to airbnb, we have been doing home exchanges for years via the (website hidden) website. Our home exchange guests give us consistently great reviews as hosts.
