I had a great time staying at Rain's place. The room was cozy and the house is just beautiful. I appreciated being able to cook in the sunny kitchen and eat outside on the veranda. The Wolsely neighbourhood has a lot of charm to it - cool people, lovely old homes, good walking streets, and some nice cafes to check out. Definitely a good place to stay while in Winnipeg!
I had such a wonderful stay in this house: I stayed here for two weeks and it really felt like home away from home. It’s an older house with lots of character, very charming and cozy. Rain replied to my messages in a short amount of time, which I really appreciated because it was a last minute booking. She was very friendly, accommodating and courteous. Rain is such an amazing person and a wonderful host, I can’t say enough wonderful things about her! The location is excellent – close to amenities and the neighbourhood is very safe, I enjoyed going out for walks. I really appreciated the breakfast basics provided. I can’t thank Rain enough for her generous hospitality!
Very nice house and Rain is a very nice Gastmother. I really really enjoyed my stay at Rain's house.
My stay with Rain was great. She was friendly and helpful when I had questions about Winnipeg, and taught me a few things about backgammon. Her daughter even gave me a drive downtown at one point. My room was clean and tidy.
It was a WONDERFUL stay! Rain is an amazing person, a very welcoming host, always helpful and concerned that we could have a great stay. She is a lovely and kind person that always invited us to fun activities, like games and down snow hills with a sled as well. Also, she is a very good person to talk too. Good vibes. :)
The house is beautiful, clean, charming and cozy, we really love it! And the location is excellent!
Here we met fantastic people who received us very well and were very kind. They also gave us useful tips for our adaptation. We had so much fun with these people, we are very grateful.
We really recommend this place as a great place to stay in Winnipeg. :)
This was my first Airbnb experience and it was excellent. Rain is a warm and welcoming host. Her place was clean and cozy, and she was great to chat with. Her place was nice and quiet too. The location was excellent and I really enjoyed walking around the neighbourhood and visiting the bakeries and cafes nearby. I would definitely stay with Rain again!
We found Rains home to be cozy and welcoming. We had a pleasant stay, the host is very nice and helpful.

As an easy-going, good natured person with interests in photography, travel, (ah yes, I LOVE travel!), health, creativity, and the like, I enjoy having people from all over come through my place and stay for a little or a lot. It is like traveling without leaving home. This suffices me during times that I am landlocked here in Winnipeg. It helps keep my sense of the world large, keeps me open, and reminds me of the beautiful diversity of it all.
