Great location

This cabin is situated on the property of historic Trail Breaker Kennel. Trail Breaker is the home of four time Iditarod champion Susan Butcher and her legendary sled dogs. The house is about 100 feet from a small lake. Outside your back door, a woodland trail leads to lovely walks alongside the Chena and Tanana rivers. About one mile from the post office and airport, and three miles from restaurants and shopping, this cabin is accessible while still being a secluded Alaskan get-away.

Really cool place, we enjoyed our time at Trail Breaker Cabin. Reading about David and his wife and their Iditarod history is absolutely fascinating. You really are staying on a historic property, and it's a cool feeling. You can hear the dogs from the kennel next door…

Awesome place to stay in Fairbanks! Prime location being so close to the airport yet still feels very secluded. We were able to watch the northern lights from the front deck which was an incredible experience! Very cute and super clean place.

We had a comfortable stay at the Trail Breaker cabin on our recent visit in Fairbanks. This property is pretty close to the Fairbanks airport and all the places to eat. The cabin was clean and looked same as what was mentioned on the listing. Also this is the place you would want…

This was a wonderful place to stay. Quick access to Fairbanks, fairly quiet, nice location. My daughter is looking forward to the next time she visits Alaska.

We loved staying here! It is so beautiful! The cabin is amazing and the location is wonderful. We explored the area and it was perfect for exploring Fairbanks and the areas around Fairbanks. We loved watching the dogs and taking in the scene. We hope to come back and stay again!
