  • Lisa's apartment is great and just as described. The room is spacious and clean, the rest of the apartment is comfortable and stylish, and the location is unbeatable. The building is on a quiet, lovely street between two avenues with tons of good stores and restaurants, and it's a short walk to the beautiful Prospect Park. Lisa and her sons were very kind and easy going... It felt like we had known them for much longer than our week-long stay. I'd just note that the bed was not the most comfortable, and Lisa was not always available during the stay to answer any questions that came up.

  • The place is in a great location with many restaurants and bars nearby and close to prospect park. The room is very comfortable and spacious but it was warm on some of the hotter days. I was busy during the week so I didn't see Lisa much but the place was perfect for what I needed.

  • We (email hidden) for 8 nights. We really loved the neighbourhood. 5th and 7th avenue are packed with coffeebars, bagelshops, restaurants and shops. The subway is 6 blocks away. There are also busses that pass the avenues frequently. The atmosfere in this neighbourhood is absolutely great. It's beautiful and safe. The room and the appartment are ok. We didn't spreak Lisa much. I think she wants to give you privacy and she enjoys her own privacy. It might be good to know that there isn't a curtain in front of the window in the room, so it's kind of light in the early morning. Having said that, we agree on this place being the best location in Brooklyn!

  • I just spent seven weeks at Lisa's lovely flat in Park Slope, Brooklyn. I would describe it in just two words: Simply great!
Lisa and her two sweet little boys are very kind and Lisa (email hidden), always engaged to make your stay as comfortable and nice as possible! I can really recommend to (email hidden) and would definitely go there again.

  • I stayed with Lisa and her boys for a week in Brooklyn. I was super busy all week, so I rarely even saw them during my stay. Lisa was nice and I felt completely safe in the Park Slope neighborhood. My room and the rest of the house were exactly like the pictures. I had to commute to the Financial District everyday, which not a problem at all.

  • Lisa has been a really helpful, friendly and kindly hospitable host. Her apartment is roomy, and allows both privacy and a sense of being part of her family. Her two young sons are polite and pleasant.
The location couldn't be better in the heart of Park Slope on perhaps it's most charming street.
A great stay. Looking forward to returning again.

  • Lisa is very welcoming and hospitable and her two boys are really friendly. The apartment was perfect (I hope to live in a place like this someday!), and the bedroom was private, cute, and comfortable, just as promised in its description page.

My girlfriend and I were in town for New Years, and we were able to get in and out of the apartment without any problems despite our erratic hours. The location was fantastic -- just a few blocks from two subway stations. Lisa also supplied us with towels, which was very much appreciated!

This will definitely be top-choice accommodation on my subsequent visits to New York.

  • It was a pleasure to meet Lisa and her well-behaved kids. Nice home with a comfortable room. I could come and go without any disturbance or inconvenience. Located in the heart of Park Slope. I recommend this flat especially for single travelers.
