About This Listing
Just 1 block form the L train! (Morgan Ave). Stay in this sunlit private bedroom featuring a cozy full-size bed and flat screen TV with Netflix in the real artistic/industrial part of East Williamsburg.
The bedroom features a full-size bed, 37" TV with Netflix/Hulu, dresser and clothing rack. It's drenched in morning sunlight.
The apartment is two stories (entrance on ground floor) with the kitchen, living room, toilet and separate shower on the first floor. We have a 47" Flatscreen 3D TV, WiFi, and outdoor courtyard! Our huge kitchen is window lit and very well stocked with every tool and appliance you could think of.
This is a shared apartment (three bedrooms total) with other housemates: A couple, and one male in their late 20's who are all very friendly. The apartment is pretty quiet mornings and afternoons. Most of us work nights and weekends so we'll usually be downstairs in the kitchen and/or watching tv around 11:30pm. We're not loud by any means, just giving you an idea of when everyone is home and awake. This is not a party house, but you are welcome to come home as late as you want because it is NYC after all :)
I'll be personally welcoming you with a set of keys, a tour of the apartment, and some basic info about the house/neighborhood. My work schedule is quite busy, so while I might not see you often, I'm just a phone call/text away and am happy to answer any questions you may have at any time. If I'm not able to personally check you in I will have a roommate help you, or leave keys for you with detailed instructions as I have done for many happy Airbnb guest before. Check-in always flexible!
Again, we're located just half a block from the train, and two blocks from a nice row of well-known restaurants, bars, the best coffee shops, and a 24-hour natural grocery store. This is a very artistic/industrial neighborhood filled with creative types and travelers from all over. I wouldn't live anywhere else in NY but here!
Additionally, the Jefferson stop (one train stop/5-10 min walk) has become a great nightlife area.
Bedford Ave/Williamsburg = 8 min
Union Square = 15 mins
Times Square = 28 mins
Free street parking is commonly available within a block.

Thanks to Danny and his roomates for their hospitality. Nice stay for one week, near the L station. I recommend this place.
as a first time Airbnb user i would have to say that Danny was very accurate on how to reach his place and texted me detailed instructions, the Room is exactly as shown in pictures very clean and well organized and i stood at his place for 3 nights with a friend of mine. the area is very nice ! and real close to the train. Would use his place again! we didn't get to meet ! but thank you so much!
Great location, hooked up room with private tv and netflix, nice drawers and a hanger. Plenty of space and privacy. Very nice housemates, all cool people. Would stay with again.
We really enjoyed staying at Danny's! He and his roommates were very helpful and kind. The apartment is in a very cool neighborhood, with the subway right around the corner and some great restaurants and shops nearby. The room looks exactly like the pictures and Danny provided us with towels as promised - very useful if your bags are already full with all the nice clothes you bought in the second hand shops nearby! Definitely would go there again; and to Danny, thanks for the hospitality!
Staying with Danny was the best! He was super accommodating and friendly and we felt really comfortable. We only stayed for a weekend but wished we could have stayed longer. His place is in a great spot right by the train so it was easy to get everywhere. Overall 10/10!
All in all OK. It was a nice stay for two weeks. Unfortunately I didn't have time to talk to Danny so much.
About the Host, Danny
I'm a low-key, easy going guy, stoked on traveling and playing music on the road.
Last winter I spent a month roaming throughout Colombia, and plan to do the same in Peru, Iceland, Portugal, Hungary, and Japan in the next year or so. I could travel for the rest of my life if I had to!
As a host, I always make sure my guests are super comfortable and well-acquainted in my apartment. Clean sheets and towels for everyone! Comfort is key, and I want you to feel right at home. I always recommend places in the neighborhood to visit, like great restaurants, coffee shops, shopping, etc, all within walking distance. Having lived all over Brooklyn in the most popular and artistic neighborhoods for the passed 6 years, I've come to know some cool spots and ideas for fun that I'd love to share!
