Or a cool quiet time in the room with the a/c. The apartment is separated from the main house, by a door and a lower family room. Two mountain bikes are readily available for your use to ride around the area, or cruise into Waikiki. The owners, Terri and Don live in the upper part of the house and love to meet new guests.

Very welcoming with a nice card and treats waiting for us, It was very quiet and had a homey feeling. We would stay there again when we visit again.
Terri and Don left a nice welcome for us when we arrived. It is a clean, cozy apt and was a good base for exploring Honolulu. We enjoyed meeting them and enjoyed our stay.
Terri and Don were very welcoming with chocolate. The house is in a quiet part of town which was wonderful. We enjoyed every moment of our stay. It was really nice having a washer and dryer. Also their hot tub is the best one I have ever been in. Highly recommend to stay here. It is also best to rent a car they have a spot to park.
When we arrived at Terri & Dons place we felt right at home. The air conditioning was great because it was a little humid and hot in Oahu that weekend. While I didn't get a chance to meet Terri & Don, they did keep in contact. If I ever had a problem or needed to ask a question they would text back within 30 minutes. We felt very safe here and it is very close to everything. The mall& Waikiki are less then a 10 minutes drive away and so is the Rainbow drive in. Thank you Terri & Don. If we are ever in Oahu again we will definitely stay with you if you will have us.
Great, comfortable studio with A/C and access to everything you need in a great location! Terri and Don are really nice too, and were eager to help us out with anything we needed!
Our cozy room was just as pictured, small kitchen with adjacent toilet & shower, all the basics you need. Construction in progress during our stay, so was a bit dusty, but no inconvenience; would love to see the final outcome, maybe next visit.
Very convenient location, close to markets, Diamond Head & other hikes, beaches, freeway and just enough away from busy downtown.
Wish we had more tome to explore & use bikes. Appreciated treats & tips for favorite spots.
Terri and Don have an absolutely adorable space in a safe, quiet residential neighborhood in Honolulu. The studio was clean and we were welcomed with some chocolates and coffee placed neatly on the bed. They were highly communicative in advance of our stay as well as while we were there -- a light bulb blew in the studio and Terri was quick to respond and respectful of our schedule when fixing it. Couldn't have asked for a better first impression of Honolulu!

About the Host, Terri & Don
Terri and Don are a very active couple in their 40's. Terri competed for 19 years on the International circuit, of aerobic gymnastics, attaining Silver Medals for 2 years at the World Championships. She retired in 2012 and has since been a physical fitness trainer, Master Instructor, as well as an Active Isolated Stretching practitioner. Don was born and raised in the islands has been an active Licensed Realtor in the area for 22 years. While both work out multiple times a week, Terri teaches 8-10 classes a week, which Don often attends, they also love to go on weekly hikes and take their dogs on long walks around the neighborhood toward Waikiki.
When we travel, we like to stay in affordable, yet comfortable places, opting to spend more money on our outdoor experiences, rather than a posh hotel room. We love to get out and see what the destinations have to offer and prefer to experience the local culture, rather than stay in touristy areas and shopping malls, shopping with the locals and eating in their dining establishments and making new friends.
Travel is a very important part of our lives and we believe in treating guests, the same way we would like to be treated, when we come to visit them, with the 'Aloha Spirit'. E' Komo Mai - Our house is yours.
