The space

Sleep like an Egyptian in the Pharaoh's Chamber. This vast room has many amenities. It is the entire top floor of our Lodge and is outfitted with a Queen bed flanked with Sphinx and topped with a crystal and lavender netting. The bed faces a large window overlooking a pond where Egyptian Geese frolic on that side of the enormous room. There is a TV, WIFI, and a CD player as well as many couches to lounge on. The room has a shower, a commode, and sink room, another bathroom with two stalls, and best of all a spa room with a private hot tub. Other windows overlook our pool, spa, and sauna enclosed within a palm laden garden. there is a gas burning fireplace, an air conditioner, and a coffee maker which you will enjoy while sitting in your own throne chairs. There is a yoga hammock and other exercise equipment if you wish to utilize them. You might choose to play a game of pool or ping pong, both of which reside at the far side of this wood beamed ceiling room which at times turns into our slumber party room, as there are 10 single beds in this area. You will find a very special experience, as we are also a sanctuary for many exotic birds and cats as well as a vivarium of small reptiles and insects, and a pair of alpacas for you to tour on our lush 10 acres. We are asking $350 a night for the opportunity to enjoy this unique overnight for two.
There are excellent restaurants within walking distance, and the Russian River is a 10 minute walk as well.

We had to hunt for the office, where we were signed in efficiently. Young woman did not show us to our room, just pointed. She laughed and said, "there's no key." We didn't realize that only shutters close off the stairs to the Pharaoh's chamber, with not even a sign suggesting t…

I'd include more photos of the back part of the loft. And mention its kind of open.

The whole property was amazing, there were exotic animals everywhere, and the peacocks were absolutely gorgeous. The pool and hot tub were both in great shape and the staff were all very friendly. My only complaint at all would be the temperature of the room, but being as it is s…

We enjoyed ourselves in this eccentric space. The traffic from the highway was not welcome but no control over that.
