1 bedroom, apartment (65 meters sq.) big terrace (40 meters sq.), access to garden and harbor view (limited), fully furnished. Kitchen with all the facilities a foodie needs! 15 minutes on bike to town square. The apprtment is not a good choice for families with children (babies ok), perfect for singles or couples. The area is new (most apartments less when 7 years old) and is has very easy access to all the things Copenhagen has to offer, and Malmö in Sweden too. The area is safe and quiet and near the new swimmingpool in the harbour - "Havnebadet".
This is not a typical rental place, it is my private home, that I am renting out while traveling and working abroad, so I am not doing this to make a profit, but more so that others might enjoy my home and look after it while I am away. This also means that it has a much more homey feel to it when your typical rental space.
I am providing you with towels and bed linnen, but I do not have a hairdryer and there is no phone !!! So bring a mobile phone with you if tyhis is important and think about bying a calling card with a danish SIM at 50 Dkr. in the nearest netto!
Of special interest to American visitors, I can mention, that I have a build in, American transformer in the kitchen, meaning that all american electrical appliances can be plugged directly into 4 plugs in the kitchen!
You have all the basic shopping within walking distance, but for a real treat take bus 10 to Isted gade (the old red light district, which today is also the buzzing hub for trendy cafes and ethnic greengrocers) or take the S-train 10 minutes to Nørreport and see Torvehallerne - the new Gourmet shopping food halls (website hidden)
Copenhagen has a lot of great restaurants and in no time you can be at one of my favorites Italian places - Fiasco (website hidden) or take bus 3A right to the best yoga place in Denmark - Hamsa Yoga - (website hidden)
You have the whole appartment to yourself.
I will not be there to meet you as I live in Norway most of the time, so all interaction is going to happen via phone and email. - I am however very fast in responding to email!

We stayed 3 nights and really liked the appartment. Very good design and taste! The location was perfect for us.
Apartment is well equiped, looks good (as on photo) and cozy. Has big windows so you can gaze at sunsets and sunrises while having tea. It is quite distance from city center (approx. 40 min.) but for those, who loves walking it's OK. One way from center passes by the Fisketorvet Mall with a lot of clothing shops, grocery and a food court. S-train station (2 stations from Central Station) is in short-walking distance. Jacob is easy to communicate with and fully satisfacted us as a host.
We stayed in Jacobs apartment for a whole month as from end of November 2013. The apartment is very nice and warm and we felt at home from the moment we first stepped into it. Everything is there – dish washer, washing machine, tumble dryer, a full set of kitchen equipment. The apartment is very nicely decorated, as can be seen from the pictures. The only things we were missing were some small things such as a hairdryer and a (long) shoehorn.
Although the apartment is located a bit off, it was OK, as there were many apartment houses in the same area and we had easy access to the S-train at Sydhavn station (2 stops from the central station), bus nbr. 30, which either took us to the Central Station or to Bella Center from where we could take the Metro into Kongens Nytorv or a short walk to the boat which could take us to The Black Diamond or Nyhavn. Also, since we like to explore towns by walking, it was anyway a piece of cake to walk into downtown via Istedgade, where also bus nbr. 10 was running to the City Hall Square (Rådhuspladsen). Shopping was easily made at Fisketorvet, where we could also buy food, and closer to the apartment was also a Netto shop as well as an Irma shop.
Accessing the apartment the first time was according to the instructions we were given and the keypad for the door to the apartment worked perfect. We did have a couple of questions to Jacob by email and SMS, and we got swift answers to our questions.
As I and my wife enjoy taking long walks, we sometimes took a walk into the center, either along the water, or along Istedgade. As there is a lot of water around, including small boat harbors and some green areas, we can imagine that this is a very nice place in summertime as well. When we come back to Copenhagen, we will definitely come to stay at Jacobs place again if possible.
This is a beautiful apartment. Downtown is minutes away by bus, bike, and or train. The apartment is also within 15 minutes of the airport. The inside provides anything you might need for an extended stay-High tech appliances and beautiful exposure to winter sun. It is well-maintained, clean and cosy. Owner was easy to work with and very helpful. We would definitely chose to stay here again when we return to Copenhagen.
We had a nice stay in Jacobs appartment, It is on walk distance of the subway. The appartment is on the groundfloor and has two very nice terasses. Unfortunately we had a lot of rain, so we could not enjoy it. The place is perfect for exploring Kobengavn.
Beautifully located and kept one bed with wrap around terrace and airy feel. Two stops from the very centre of town on the S-tog and yet seemingly a world away. I'm a frequent visitor to CPH, but didn't know this world existed. I look forward to returning for an extended stay as soon as possible.
Lovely airy apartment and Jacob is an informative host. He was away when we stayed but his instructions were spot on and easy to follow. Quiet neighborhood served well by public transport (10min walk to station, 5mins to central station) and the supermarket at the station is very useful. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
Jacob was very efficient on replying to my initial ails. This was my first trip to Copenhagen so I had tons of clueless questions which he was helpful with. The instructions given to me on how to access the apartment were very clear and precise. The apartment was very clean and tidy and had allowed alot of wonderful sunlight in which actually persuaded me to work from home most mornings before exploring the city. I have no hesitation in recommending this aparement.
Jacob was very helpful, and his place is great : clean, bright and homey. He has taken time to put together a binder for his guests about how everything works, and he keeps a drawer full of tourist information. We quickly felt at home. His block is modern and easy to get to, but in a residential area that's a little bit out of the way. Perfect for those looking for a quiet dinner and evening at home, less so for those who are looking for a lively neighbourhood to go out in at night. I would recommend it to my friends.
I had a niçe experience in Jacob's flat.Clean, safe and near bus and train.I recomend.Jacob is very organized.Congratulations Jacob.
