A little peace of heaven, in the middle of the exquisite Grenadines archipel, on a small private island. This beach villa offers exceptionnal views on the neighbouring islands and turquoise blue waters. Experience outdoor lifestyle, ideal for a quiet and peaceful break. Snorkeling with turtles, diving, kite surfing, sailing...
Grenadines Islands are a genuine "must visit" destination, untouched by mass tourism and often referred to as the "jewels of the Caribbean".
Immerse yourself in the pristine tropical beauty of Palm Island, a remote island hideaway. Palm is a small private and exclusive island (you can walk around it in 30 minutes) with a hotel and a few privately owned villas. It is the ideal vacation spot for friends or families with children, looking for privacy and tranquillity.
Prune House is surrounded by a spectacular beach and coconut trees. It is a real beach house (litterally 15 meters from the water) with a living room and dining room opened on the garden, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a kitchen. The villa is simply furnished but comfortable and perfect for nature lovers.
Snorkeling in front of the villa and around the island.
Diving and Kite Surfing in Union Island (ideal spot for kite surfing with a dedicated school in Union).
Visit of neighbouring islands with our local taxi boat : famous Tobago Cays natural park (swim with turtles), Mustique, Morpion (a dollop of sand), Canouan, Petit Saint Vincent (have lunch on the beach restaurant and eat delicious lobsters).
Enjoy a superb day of sailing in the exquisite grenadines islands.
Union Island tour in the open-backed taxi vans.
From France : fly to Fort de France and take a connection to Union Island.
From the UK and the USA : fly to Barbados, Sainte Lucia or Trinidad and take a 30 minutes connection to Union Island.
Our housekeeper will take care of you during your stay in Prune House : open the villa before your arrival and close it after your departure (fees payed bu the owner for opening and closing).
It is mandatory to take the housekeeper during your stay so that she can take care of the villa everyday (fees for the housekeeper during your stay are to be payed directly by you to the housekeeper). She can as well delicious local meals (fishes, lobsters...).
Arrivals : the housekeeper can welcome you in the villa from monday to saturdays, from 10am to 4pm. If you plan to arrive any other time, we will provide you a map so that you can find the villa.
We just returned from an amazing stay on Palm Island! The villa came as advertised, as did the views...
Anne Claire was extremely responsive and helpful prior to our trip in answering questions and providing all necessary information regarding travel, the island, and the house.
There is a housekeeper available to open and close the villa, and will check in daily. She is available to prepare meals at an additional fee if of interest.
This is the first vacation where we didn't eat out once...we obtained groceries and drinking/cooking water on nearby Union Island prepared simple meals daily at the house. Selection is very limited at the local market, and groceries can be delivered (depending on day of the week) from St. Vincent.
The only thing to mention regarding the listing is that the villa is rustic in every sense of the word...which was what we happened to be looking for. If you are seeking modern amenities, you may want to search for other properties. For us, we found the escape and tranquility that we were looking for and enjoyed the charm of staying in an open villa.
Snorkeling in Tobago Cays is a must. There are several other day trips that are accessible either on Palm or Union Island.
We purchased an international plan for our U.S. based phone, but were not able to receive any service (which was not a huge problem anyhow).
Weather systems seem to move in and out quickly. We experienced quite a bit of wind, but likely helped keeping the sand flies and mosquitos away.
Our only complaint is that we didn't have more time...thanks again to Anne Claire!
