Staying at the treehouse was an awesome experience. We really enjoyed it! It was very comfortable inside and surprisingly spacious. The area was nice and private, surrounded by trees and right by the lake. Great location, very convenient since it was close to the town. We didn't get to meet the host, Matt, but he was always just a phone call away and he was extremely helpful.
My wife and I had a great time at the tree house. we love camping, so it was perfect place for both of us. I totally recommend it, specially to people who love to camp out. Place is really comfortable inside. There is one heater in the place but i recommend bringing your own light source (battery powered) because light inside the cabin runs on solar power and it ran out on us so it was really dark. But i was lucky that i have one spare lantern in my car. Total experience was very good and staff was really helpful. Definitely be going there next year again.
My mom & I had a wonderful experience at the treehouse! The location was easy to find, the area is stunning in the fall, and the treehouse was so cozy and cute! More than enough space for a few people, and everything you need was provided. We will definitely be back next year!
The treehouse is beautiful inside plus really clean and comfortable. We didn't get a chance to rent out the canoes from Free Spirit but we ended up getting hard apple cider from Beaver Valley and getting apple pie across the street. The surroundings are beautiful especially in the fall. Would love to come here again.
The Cabin was amazing! A great escape from the city. Very clean, quiet and very helpful staff. I would suggest this to anyone wanting a relaxing place in nature with options of driving into the city. If your in the area check out Beaver Valley Cidery for amazing drinks. Thanks again Matt!
The treehouse was definitely a really cool experience. We got to cook dinner on the river and watch the sunset. It was absolutely gorgeous. We did the rock climbing tour which was really organized and fun for all levels of climbers. The instructor was very sweet, helpful and encouraging. We would have loved to paddle the gorgeous river outside the treehouse as well but didn't have time. In terms of amenities, there were board games, bedding and a space heater which was great at this time of year.
My partner and I had a great time at the treehouse. It's perfect for people who enjoy camping, but want something a little more laid back. It's really comfortable inside - the prefect kind of cozy.
The description and photos are exactly what it looks like. It has that great woody smell inside, too! Just be sure to bring your own cooking supplies/mini stove if you're planning to cook your own food and not go into town to eat.
During the day you can sometimes hear people on the river, which is right behind it (give or take some tree cover), but it was never an issue. Overall, we had a great time and we're planning to go back next here.
