host was very nice/welcoming. We had everything we needed.
Spectacular AirBnB find... The perfect stop off on the drive up to San Francisco from LA... Rebecca was an outstanding host and lovely to speak, not to mention very understanding of a slightly late arrival... The room is exactly as advertise and the house the view and cleanliness was beyond expectations..
Really had to tear myself away to get back on the road, the view and the surrounding grounds are beautiful...
Thanks again Rebecca keep doing what your doing would definitely stay again and would highly recommend!
Amazing home, very comfortable, clean and quiet. Rebecca and Bob were charming and hospitable. An oasis of calm on a busy road trip. Thank you, Rebecca, for the beautiful roses in the bathroom.
Home was in a beautiful setting and gorgeous! Rebecca's daughter met us upon our late arrival and showed us to our room. Room was bright and airy with a great view of the garden/patio below. Would highly recommend.
Though I have stayed at many Bed and Breakfast Hotels this was my first airbnb. I can't imagine any others will match up to Rebecca and her husband's home. I've already planned our trip out next year.
My room was large and comfortable with snacks and bath supplies. Great flat screen TV and a key to lock the door when I left for the day. The guest sitting room down stairs was awesome. The house is spectacular and and so well built I felt I was at a five star resort. Rebecca is an great gardener and the grounds around the house are beautiful.
The neighborhood is gated, the entrance guards were very polite, the entrance and all the grounds are beautiful. The surrounding view from the front yard and upstairs balcony is spectacular. Even with other guest in the house the place was quiet as a church. And it is an easy and enjoyable 10 minute or less drive into town.
I was so comfortable I never even locked my door!
What a cozy room! The room was quiet, clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Rebecca's home is grand yet homey. The location is convenient to Monterrey and a very short drive to Laguna Seca where I was attending the Sea Otter Classic bike festival. I would definitely stay again!
Staying in her house was the most memorable thing in Monterey. The house was the best house I've ever been to and the host was super kind and friendly. The house is really big and there are so many luxurious antique furnitures, beautiful paintings and sculptures. Moreover, the scenery looking through the oval window in the living room was awesome. The village where her house is so peaceful and beautiful. I was so sad that I had only one night to stay there. If you come to Monterey, you have to stay in her house. I miss the house and the host already.
Rebecca was very kind and accommodating and her home is breathtaking! I would definitely return if I'm ever in the area again.
Located in a lovely gated community with its own clubhouse, Rebecca's house was absolutely amazing--one of the nicest houses I've ever been to. Rebecca herself was very sweet and friendly. The room was well-prepared and well-maintained with DirectTV, clean towels, delicious snack bars, water bottles, and toiletries. A few things to note though: 1. The bedroom door doesn't close all the way. 2. You need to be a member to eat at the clubhouse, which is the restaurant within walking distance that Rebecca's description refers to. 3. We couldn't figure out how to work the AC/heater, so there were times when the room was a bit too warm. All in all, we had a wonderful stay with Rebecca and would recommend it.
My Mom & I stayed at Rebecca's lovely home one night and it couldn't have been better. This was my first Airbnb expdrience & I couldn't have been more pleased. The room was just what we wanted and very clean, very elegant but homey. Rebecca's home was awesome & she was very warm & welcoming. So much nicer than a motel!
