Charming apartment in an old converted mill, Large double room for one person or a couple. The building is beautiful, it dates from the 1700's and has loads of character.
Very easy to get to from the airport, Aircoach leaves right outside Dublin airport terminal 1 & 2 and the Aircoach bus stop is a 2 min walk from us. Train / Dart station is just over a 5 min walk.

No smoking in the apartment but you can pop onto the communal balcony to smoke.
Gary was an awesome host! His place is beautiful and easy to get to. He's a super cool, chill guy and I loved my time at his place.
Beautiful town, and a great pleasure having Gary as our host. He went out of his way to make us feel welcome and to provide us with everything we needed for a wonderful holiday.
Gary was a warm welcoming host and his apartment in the converted mill is lovely, comfortable and clean. The location is very handy while being quiet. We enjoyed our two night stay very much.
Gary was such a blast!! No sooner was I in his front door and he was inviting me to his friends 40th birthday party. Half an hour later, I found myself in the Harbour bar ( voted the best bar in the world a couple of years ago and must say I found it a great place ) blowing up balloons and drinking a half pint of Guinness haha!!
Gary is an extremely easy going guy and makes you feel really welcome in his cozy flat. Even think he painted the bathroom for me arriving.....My room was really tidy, I slept like a log every night and every morning he offered either cereal, croissants or bread along with tea or coffee which surely would give you a kick!!
I would highly recommend that you go along to the little Nepales restaurant 5 mins from Gary's house and that you take a bus along to Greystones where you can have a great lunch at the Happy Pear as Gary suggests.
Gary's flat is centrally located to all shops and bus stops in town and is only 10mins walk to the shorefront from where you can take nice walks up Brayhead and also to the nearest town, Greystones. I didn't have much time for this but would like to the next I go.
I would definitely advise anyone to spend a weekend at Gary's house. He'd make you feel so welcome and loves to meet new people! I'd give him a 5 star!!!!
We come to Ireland since 2003. Normally we go to a B&B or a rented cottage. This was our first time with Airbnb. To let people into your house you donn't know requires an absolute thrust in people. We are thankfull for the thrust Gary had in us. He is very easy going. He made us feel welcome, offered help to reach his appartment, showed us interesting places. This was the first time we visited life Irish music in a very nice pub on his advice . Excellent. Bray is a nice village, close to the sea and the Wiclow mountains and not too far from Dublin. If you are fed up with the noise and people in Dublin, this is a good place to discover more from Ireland.

I have only just joined AirBNB and I look forward to hosting people from all over the planet.
I'm a fun loving creative guy who is a very easygoing. I have recently moved back to Ireland after many years living abroad in London, Sydney and Asia.
Travelling is a passion, South East Asia is probably a favourite but I have travelled across Australia, NZ, Indonesia, Europe and ended up living with Buddhist monks for a while outside Bangkok, loads of stories along the way!
Love running, cycling , painting, the odd pint of Guinness, music, playing a little bit of guitar and generally keeping in shape. There are plenty or great routes in the area for walking, running and cycling.
Thai green curry is my speciality, happy for you to sample my cooking if you're here for a couple of days.
I can help you out with advice on great places to go whether pubs, restaurants or activities such as running, cycling, kayaking surfing etc.
My flatmate Alessandra is Italian, she's funny, makes a mean coffee, she's a bit of a legend!
