Stayed with Gary now for the second time. Had a great time again, felt more than welcome in Gary's house and he couldn't do enough for me. Bed was really comfy and I slept like a log and Gary had already bought in breakfast for me for the following morning. I was attending a course in Bray and Gary kindly dropped me off where I needed to be. Would recommend his pad to anyone. Cheers Gary!

About the Host, Gary
I have been hosting on AirBNB for just over a year and it has been a great experience.
I'm a fun loving creative guy who is a very easygoing. I have recently moved back to Ireland after many years living abroad in London, Sydney and Asia.
Travelling is a passion, South East Asia is probably a favourite but I have travelled across Australia, NZ, Indonesia, Europe & more. One of my more unusual experiences ended up with me living with Buddhist monks for a month outside Bangkok, loads of stories along the way!
I love running, cycling, painting, the odd pint of Guinness, music, cooking, playing a little bit of guitar (don't worry, I don't play when I have guests!), Ted Talks, staying curious about the world.
There are plenty or great routes in the area for walking, hiking, running, cycling or just sitting on top of a mountain with beautiful views and feeling blissfully relaxed! I feel blessed to live in such a great part of the world, there is an abundance of nature on the doorstep but Dublin is only 30 mins by train along a stunning coastline. Back off the mountains, there are great pubs, restaurants, characters, cafes, music to be heard and so much more.
Thai cooking is my speciality, I'm happy for you to sample my cooking if you're staying for a couple of days and I am around.
I can help you out with advice on great places to go whether it be pubs, restaurants or activities such as hiking, running, cycling, kayaking, surfing and some of the hidden gems off the beaten track.
