No smoking in the apartment but you can pop onto the communal balcony to smoke.
We come to Ireland since 2003. Normally we go to a B&B or a rented cottage. This was our first time with Airbnb. To let people into your house you donn't know requires an absolute thrust in people. We are thankfull for the thrust Gary had in us. He is very easy going. He made us feel welcome, offered help to reach his appartment, showed us interesting places. This was the first time we visited life Irish music in a very nice pub on his advice . Excellent. Bray is a nice village, close to the sea and the Wiclow mountains and not too far from Dublin. If you are fed up with the noise and people in Dublin, this is a good place to discover more from Ireland.

I was made very welcome by Gary. He was a friendly and helpful host. The place was clean and warm the room private and bright. The immediate area is quiet and near the town. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in Bray.
Gary was the most careful and helpful : he came to pick us up at the train station, gave us a tour of the city and gave us great advises on what to do around the seafront. His place is lovely, very cosy and neat. Beautiful building and charming neighbourhood, close to every cool places in bray. The guestroom was warming and so comfy! Gary is a lovely person, easygoing and we enjoyed his presence with us at the pub. We had an amazing night! Best place to stay by far. Cheers!
Gary is such a cool guy, and I really enjoyed my stay at his place in Bray. It was easy to get into Dublin from his place, and also explore other nature-geared sights in the area. The home and room was spacious and clean, and an easy walk to the train/bus. I appreciated the typed list of things to do, and Gary helped me planned out each day with a full itinerary. Meeting him was like staying with a good friend, he was very gracious with his time: drove me several places, cooked delicious food (including an amazing thai dinner!), let me use his guest pass at the gym, took me hiking, watched an Irish movie, and had many good times hanging out. Thanks Gary, you're the best!
Everything went very smoothly. Gary is an excellent host. He made sure we knew how to find his place and was there when we arrived. The welcome included a quick tour of the flat making sure we knew how everything worked. We were given a key and left to make ourselves at home.
The flat is fantastic, well set out and clean and the bed v. comfortable. We had full use of the kitchen, lounge and bathroom whenever we wanted it. Gary had plenty of local knowledge and copies of tourist information; he went out of his way to find out about public transport for us.
We have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation and ... the genial host. Jim and Lesley Marshall
We bezochten o.a.
I have only just joined AirBNB and I look forward to hosting people from all over the planet.
I'm a fun loving creative guy who is a very easygoing. I have recently moved back to Ireland after many years living abroad in London, Sydney and Asia.
Travelling is a passion, South East Asia is probably a favourite but I have travelled across Australia, NZ, Indonesia, Europe and ended up living with Buddhist monks for a while outside Bangkok, loads of stories along the way!
Love running, cycling , painting, the odd pint of Guinness, music, playing a little bit of guitar and generally keeping in shape. There are plenty or great routes in the area for walking, running and cycling.
Thai green curry is my speciality, happy for you to sample my cooking if you're here for a couple of days.
I can help you out with advice on great places to go whether pubs, restaurants or activities such as running, cycling, kayaking surfing etc.
My flatmate Alessandra is Italian, she's funny, makes a mean coffee, she's a bit of a legend!
