As you might guess we are Adirondack enthusiasts. In one hour you can be in the Adirondack Park. Whether you are an active individual or love to sit with a good book everyone should visit the park and all it has to offer. We will be happy to give details of places to visit when you stay.
We take pride in offering our guests a comfortable, cozy, clean, smoke free environment and we ask that you respect the effort that goes into it. We would like guests to visit more than once! Although we love animals, we have chosen to not accept them in the Evergreen Suite. We want to be mindful of our guests who have allergies. We also ask that you do not light candles in the suite, there are candles outside that we light nightly for your enjoyment. Thank you, Dianne Mahanna
We had a terrific stay. We were only there for one night but wished we could have stayed longer. Dianne was wonderful hostess...the room was well-equipped with everything feeling very new and very clean. There was even a fridge with water, fruit, snacks and breakfast essentials! The bed was super comfy too!
This cozy and well appointed suite was the perfect base for our visit to Madison County. Dianne met us when we checked in and made sure that we felt at home. After that we were busy with our visit, but it was good to know that Dianne was always available if we needed anything.
The suite is part of the house, but it feels completely separate and private. It looks out onto a lovely garden. Dianne has furnished it with great care and taste. The bed linnens were amazingly luxurious and high quality. The little kitchen was fully stocked with healthy snacks and breakfast items: yogurt, fresh fruit, a Kurig with a wide assortment of coffees and teas, half & half, hot cereal, sparkling and still water and even more. The bath towels and amenities were also high quality and plentiful. Internet was good and the TV was well placed. We were visiting form my son's graduation from Colgate University and the drive back and forth was so beautiful and went by so many interesting antique stores, that we didn't mind the commute. I would recommend this delightful suite to anyone wanting to visit the area.
Thank you so much for your kind words! When we decided to venture out into the world of hosting guests we put into it what we thought we would love and as it turns out it worked!! We have met the most wonderful, kindhearted people like Marcia and Wythe and their children are a reflection of the hard work, dedication and love they put into their families. We have thoroughly enjoy hosting these families and we look forward to the guests to come! Again, thank you for the time you took to write such a lovely review, I'm honored!
Would definitely come back here! The room is cozy, has great amenities and plenty of snacks for travelers hitting the road! It's a lovely place, and Dianne was super accommodating even as our arrival got delayed by train troubles during a holiday. I don't see how it could be any more convenient and comfortable.
We loved the Evergreen Suite -- There was an extra special touch wherever we turned, the linens were high quality and comfy, the grounds are beautiful, and we especially loved Dianne's basket of snacks (sorry if we ate all of the Hershey kisses!).
We had a great stay with Dianne in July 2014. The suite was lovely with its own entrance, and Diane kept the suite stocked with every amenity you could think of.The mini fridge was also stocked with snacks and drinks; we were very spoiled! It was truly a home away from home for the weekend.
This is an absolutely wonderful, darling little suite that you should not miss! Worth driving out of the way to stay here. Completely comfortable and luxurious, with every amenity and sweet detail thought of. Immaculately clean and sweet smelling. Lovely Adirondack theme throughout. Exactly as pictured. Attention to every detail. The backyard landscaping and firepit and Adirondack chairs are very sweet as well. When you meet Dianne and Mike, you know exactly why this place is so wonderful. Don't miss it! I hope we can come back this way again, because one night was definitely too short!
Dianne is an outstanding host. Lily and I have used Airbnb for 5 years and this was stay was the most enjoyable one. Dianne kindly welcome us the lovely Evergreen Suite. She let us settle in and told us that we could help ourselves to the fridge and basket filled with goodies. Such a nice touch! The suite was impeccable, super well maintained. Coming back at night, candles were lit up in the garden leading to the terrace and our suite which made us feel at home and welcome. So many nice details and a profoundly kind and warm host. I recommend Dianne and her suite to anybody traveling this way. My only regret is that we did not spend more time enjoying her company and the suite.
About the Host, Dianne
Hello and welcome to Evergreen Suite! I am excited to have you experience the suite and the village of Clinton! I am married with two children ages 27 and 32. I chose to engage in Evergreen Suite because I enjoy meeting people outside of my immediate circle. I wanted to give those traveling to this area a place to stay that I would enjoy. I work as an Administrative Assistant in an Adult Home specializing in dementia. The residents who live there are my passion. I can't imagine life without my family, the fresh air and beauty of the Adirondack mountains and the comfort of my home. I'm known for making a house a home and have put those talents into play in the Evergreen Suite. I lose myself with the latest autobiography on the patio of the suite and my husband's excellent cooking. At this point in our lives we are looking forward to traveling, with Montana being one of our favorite destinations. We have the best of both worlds in that our daughter lives in Brooklyn NY so we can get a good dose of the big city when we visit her. My husband Mike is a "foodie" so we like to look for the unique eatery of the area we are visiting. I am most happy when all the family is at our house, eating, listening to music, laughing and "fighting" over who cheated in the card game of the moment! My motto in life is very simple...Find something to laugh at or someone to laugh with everyday...I hope your experience with Evergreen Suite is comfortable, cozy and leaves you wanting to return.
