  • We had a wonderful stay at Gina's place. It was clean, tidy and specious with a private entrance that made coming and going without disturbing anyone easy. Communication with Gina was very easy and getting to know her and her lovely family was a real pleasure for us. She had instructions and tips for us about the neighbourhood and the city as well as breakfast laid out each morning. Highly recommended!

  • Gina and her family were the definition of southern hospitality. The room was extremely clean with a fridge stocked with water, TV (inc. netflix), a closet. Furthermore the bathroom was very spacious with an aqua theme which not only had a nice shower but also a bathtub. The room had a private back entrance with a balcony. This way you did not have to disturb the family when you came home.

Every morning we would receive a note from Gina telling us that she had coffee and pastries ready for us to go. We felt like she was our New Orleans mother.

The location of the house is perfect in relation to French quarter. We would typically walk to the main street and then catch a cabbie to take us to the French Quarter.

So thank you you Gina and family for our first Mardi Gras experience an exceptional one. We will definitely be back!

  • Gina was an amazing host. The room was flawless, the bathroom was gorgeous (wish I could have taken it home with me) and everything could not have been better. Gina and her family were very kind and hospitable, making us feel welcome and giving us all the privacy we wanted. She made fresh muffins and cinnamon rolls every morning which were delicious and so helpful as we were usually too busy to grab breakfast. The house is not far from everything we wanted to do, especially since I had my own car it was only a short drive away. I really enjoyed being away from all the craziness of the quarter, but still being able to drive there quickly.

The private entrance and porch were perfect, especially because we got in pretty late every night and didnt want to disturb anyone. The driveway was a great place to park my car, I didnt feel concerned about safety at all.

I would definitely recommend Gina's place to anyone visiting NOLA . You will feel comfortable and at home here. We will be staying here again next time we visit.

  • This was my first experience with Airbnb, and I can't imagine a better one. Gina waited up for us on the night we arrived even though we had a late flight, and she got up early the morning we were leaving to make coffee and muffins! The bed was comfy, the bathroom was luxurious and wonderful, and we really enjoyed chatting with Gina. She had great suggestions on where to eat and what to do. I can't wait to go back and stay with her again.

  • My friend and I had a fantastic time staying at Gina's place during Jazzfest. She was very helpful, offering tasty guidance and useful light breakfasts. (Note that "light" here is relative, since there's no such thing as light food in new Orleans.) The jaccuzi tub and private deck were welcome respites at the beginning and end of each day.

  • Very comfortable and inviting bedroom with private entrance. Plenty of closet space. Very nicely remodeled bathroom with separate shower and large jacuzzi tub, great to soak in! Gina was very accommodating, coming from work to meet us at her home in the middle of the day. Her boys are very sweet and have great manners! Delicious breakfast of muffins and cinnamon rolls in the morning :) Location is great for going to the shops along Magazine St and getting on the street car on St. Charles, short easy drive to the French Quarter as well! Gina has lots of guidebooks and maps in the room available.

  • What a wonderful trip! We loved the town and absolutely loved staying with Gina. They were very gracious and kind; very welcoming. Very quiet home and neighborhood. Was able to come and go as needed. Lots of privacy but she was available for questions if needed. Would love to go back! Thanks so much Gina!! Wish we had got to try your famous muffins...we were just up and out the house to explore the town too early! :)

  • My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Gina's when we visited NOLA for the NCAA Final Four. She and her boys were so very accommodating and welcoming, suggesting places to eat and how to get around. The breakfast of juice, coffee and freshly-made muffins were delicious and such a thoughtful gesture. The room and ensuite bathroom were spotless. I would highly recommend Gina's place for anyone looking for a cozy, clean and stress-free stay!
