  • Sergio was very nice and helpful. It was my first time in Rome and I came by myself but he was very nice and always willing to answer questions and guide me to where ever I needed to go. If you need any extra soap, towels or wash cloths just ask Sergio and he'll promptly get them over to you. Sergio also provided Wi-Fi access so you can get online and figure out directions through (website hidden) maps if needed.
I was around the corner from Termini station so it was within walking distance. The bus tour was just down the block of via Marsala. The Coliseum was about a 10 min train ride from the Termini metro line to the Coliseum and Roman Forum area. From Termini you can get to the all of the regional (Pisa, Florence or Venice) or local (Coliseum, Forum areas) lines of Italy. I would definitely recommend going to stay under Sergio again. Also Sergio will give you vouchers for breakfast at the restaurant next to the doorway that leads to the elevator. You're served a small biscuit with coffee or tea which was fine for me. Thanks again Sergio!

  • The room was a great value, only about a five minute walk from Termini (the main Rome train station). Every morning we had a traditional Italian breakfast of a croissant and Italian coffer (a thick coffee with hot milk to add).

We are in our mid 60s and found that we could easily walk to many of Rome's attractions, the colosseum was about a 20 minute walk, the Pantheon was about 25 minutes. We found that walking allowed us to enjoy traditional Italian lunches and dinners.

The room faced a large street so there was some traffic noise, however, we live in a major American city and the noise from the Rome traffic was actually less than San Francisco traffic.

This room was a great value.

  • We had the pleasure of finding someone in front of the building waiting for us. The other comments describe well what you can find unusual with this apartment. If you're a tight sleeper I would recommend his place, otherwise read below.
    Positive points:
    -self service breakfast and coffee
    -well located
    -rooms cleaned everyday
    -quiet place (from exterior noises)
    Negative points:
-reserved room not available the first night, we ended in a room in which I could not stand up straight (I am not particularly tall) and with an open space with the room under (could hear the other guests as if next to me)
-in the bathroom no curtains to prevent a flood!
-in the bigger room (on the pictures with three beds) a wall has an upper transparent part and light can come in from the hall which is annoying if you're trying to sleep.

  • First, it is not the room on the picture. The room is quite cozy, but to reach the bathroom one must take a balcony, which is terrible in the winter. A better description would be nice!
Another issue, the lady that attended me does not speak english, so the communication was really bad.

  • This was ideal location to spend night in Rome before catching a train to Naples early in the morning. Clean and comfortable bed and breakfast down the street from Termini. It was extra convenient because Mariet was able to pick us is from the airport! Made our transit hassle free. Recommend for those who need to catch trains early in the morning.
