Sylvestre at Masseria Morongo is a 3-bedroom retreat between Joshua Tree and Palm Springs with mountain views, a heated cowboy tub, and outdoor soaking tub and shower. The 3-bathroom home is guided by Passive House principles. Sliding doors open the modern interiors to the desert. Outside, a soaking tub and shower and a generous dining table invite slow rituals and starry nights.

The space
Masseria Sylvestre is a newly built modern home set on five private acres between Joshua Tree and Palm Springs. Informed by Passive-led architecture and design, Sylvestre was created with both sustainability and serenity in mind. The airtight, energy-efficient build creates an environment that’s quiet, thermally balanced, and deeply calming, a cocoon-like space that shaped every design choice. Natural materials like stone and untreated wood give the home a grounding, organic feel.
