2 blocks f/ Main Quad, Entire Apt

Apartment - Entire home/apt · Packard Street, Ann Arbor, MI 48104, United States

The Space

750 square foot one bedroom apartment, including kitchen, living room, and porch with seating area. The building was formerly a large victorian house that has been converted into seven separate apartments, all of which are very quiet and mostly filled with graduate students. The listed apartment is on the first floor and has lots of natural light, particularly in the kitchen.

The apartment is about four city blocks from downtown Ann Arbor, two blocks from the law school and central campus. Across the street from the apartment is Pastry Peddler, a wonderful café with intelligentsia coffee, excellent croissants, scones, bagels, and other baked goods. Within one-to-two blocks, there are also several very good places to pick up a quick bite including, Big Ten Burrito, Jimmy Johns, and so forth. There's also a sushi place and a bbq joint just around the corner, but the best restaurants will obviously be on nearby Main Street. If walking is difficult, possibly because of the cold, then there are buses that proceed up and down State Street and Packard.

Few apartments in Ann Arbor are so comfortably furnished in a space with hardwood floors, especially in such a central location. NOTE: My girlfriend has taken her nice big television displayed above with her to her new apartment, so the television in the apartment will be mine, which only has a 23 inch screen.

  • We had a wonderful stay at Brian's apartment! I was visiting Ann Arbor to check out a grad program there, and this was the ideal location to scout from. Everything we needed was nearby and it was a quick walk to campus.

The place was clean, easy to settle into, and really comfortable. Brian was a perfect host and was so easy to communicate with. I would gladly stay here again.

  • This was my first time using Airbnb and it was a great experience. Brian was a great host and was very accommodating in every way. He was also very responsive and helpful for every question and concern that I had. The location of the apartment was perfect and was walking distance to everything we needed at U of M. I thought noise would be an issue because of its prime location, but we didn't have any issues. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Ann Arbor.

  • Brian was extremely understanding and made arrangments to help us check in to his place later in the evening, which is not always the case. The appartment was in a great location and easily accessible! The neighbors were a bit loud in the middle of the night, but that's to be expected when you're staying in a college town on a weekend. We definitely would stay here again if we need a place the next time we come up to Ann Arbor!

  • Brian's place was an ideal location for my purposes. His apartment was very clean and he left clear instructions on how to get there and was overall a great host. He was very professional and accommodating given my schedule. This location is ideal since it is so close to campus and is perfect for anyone that would like to see the campus or is just visiting. I would recommend this place to anyone!

  • I had a wonderful experience staying at Brian's place. The location was perfect with the campus only a block away, lots of restaurants/ bars and the stadium was so close. I walked everywhere and it was too beautiful to take a taxi at all. Brian was a great host and the apartment was more than I expected. It provided all the amenities that you would need if you are vacationing looking to stay in the apartment for a bit. It was very clean and well equipped. Brian was very accommodating, made the stay extremely comfortable and I have to say it was very relaxing to not have to stay at a hotel. When I arrived there were fresh linens, clean towels and travel size hygenic items. He even offered to stock up on any groceries I would like, so they would be there when I arrived. Although I knew I wouldn't be in the aparent much, he went over and beyond to make my stay a very pleasant and memorable one. I would definitely like to stay at Brian's again and I 100% recommend anyone to stay there as well.

  • Brian was a great host, the place was very clean and organized, including information on some of the nearby food options. With Brian travelling for the weekend, and my flight in being delayed, the key timeline was tight but Brian was very accommodating. Brian's emails and information were extremely timely and the location for his airbnb is really great. I would absolutely airbnb from Brian again if I visit Ann Arbor and would strongly recommend him as a very gracious and organized host.

  • Brian was the ideal host and his apartment was fantastic. As a first time AirBnB member, this was my first stay, and Brian was very patient helping me through the process. Communication with him leading up to my stay was clear and consistent.
Upon arriving at Brian's place in Ann Arbor, I was amazed at the central location of his apartment. It was close to cafes and bars and only a short walk to Central Campus. In addition, his place was clean, and well prepared for my stay. I can't give Brian a high enough recommendation. I had an outstanding visit and would recommend to anyone staying in Ann Arbor in the future to consider staying at Brian's apartment.
