  • This was our first Airbnb experience and in general it was great. NIcolas is a very nice guy, as are his friends who help him manage the two rental rooms. It's fun to have a place in the very center of Dublin, literally above the Temple Bar, with a view into the pub's courtyard! The rooms (especially ours with one bed) are smaller than they look in the pictures online. And the bathroom is small and a bit dirty and overwhelmed with stuff. But when we mentioned the dust in our room, Nicolas very nicely had his housecleaner do some extra work. There's a nice common living room that looks out on street musicians. If you want a tiny room in the middle of it all, with friendly people around - this is your spot! If you're looking for peace and quiet and cleaner, more generous accommodations - you'll need to look further. But I'm so glad my wife and I slept above the Temple Bar on our first trip to Dublin.

  • My two friends and I spent a week in Dublin from March 15-22, 2014, and stayed in two of Nicolas's apartments during this time. Both apartments were in Temple Bar, just down the street from each other. The location is perfect for exploring the city, but if you're not enjoying the pubs at night they may keep you up. Neither apartment had a dryer, which wasn't a problem for us but could be inconvenient. The only reason I am taking a star off is the hefty price we paid, but I recognize that this is due to us staying there over St. Patrick's Day weekend. If the price is lower during a less busy time (which I'm sure it is), I would highly recommend this to a friend.

About
Hello, My name is Nicolas, late 30's year old french guy living in Dublin for 9 years, working as local staff for the French Embassy. I like travelling a lot ...mainly in Europe as it is easier ;-) I am renting flats in my building not only to earn extra money to buy my own flat, but because I like welcome & meet persons from all around the world and try to do my best to make them discover Dublin & enjoy this cool city ;-)
