Extremely large one bedroom apartment in historic house, very centrally located in the Buckman neighborhood of SE Portland. This unit has a private staircase and entrance in the rear of house with access to a shady backyard. There are hardwood floors throughout the apartment, built in cabinets and antique fixtures. The bedroom has a comfortable queen bed and a nice closet with extra blankets and pillows to accommodate more guests. The living room futon is also queen sized and comfortable to sleep on. There are french doors that separate this room from the rest of the house so it can be used as a second bedroom when needed. There is a claw foot bath tub and shower in the bathroom and everything provided in the kitchen for cooking.
The apartment is set back from the street and stays quiet throughout the day. The space gets plenty of light and stays cool on hot days. There is electric heat for guests staying in the winter. We have television and wifi in the apartment.
We are located on the bus and street car line and are walking distance from downtown, convention center and plenty of desirable restaurants and shops. There is a great coffee shop directly across the street and a bar/diner that serves a both a conventional and vegan menu late into the night.
We are happy to accommodate special requests when possible. Please message me with any questions. Enjoy Portland!
Perfect rental for 2-3 people, possibly more. The coffee shop across the street is a delightful bonus, and we had everything we needed for a five night stay. I would stay again and easily recommend.
I booked this late the night before we were arriving and it all went smoothly. Thanks, Faith, for the cute, spacious apartment.
Reading the description of the place and the other reviews... I knew exactly what to expect. The place was lovely, just what I was looking for. The location was great with a lovely cafe and bar/restaurant across the street. Thank you, I would definitely recommend this place and would return happily!
Faith's place was cozy and located in a very convenient neighborhood. We had four adults stay in the apartment with no problem whatsoever. I would definitely recommend visitors to Portland use this apartment if you're travelling through for a few days!
Three of us stayed here and it was perfect!
Faith was quick to reply anytime we texted her with questions and the Happy Tiger across the street was awesome for cheap and great food and booze when we got lazy.
The kitchen was well stocked and we were able to make a hot breakfast in the mornings. Only want I would say...a coffee maker? Even a Litke one...but again, there was even a coffee shop right across the street!
Thanks Faith, if we come down again we'll for sure check for availability here.
Great location just over the bridge from down town and amazing to be so close to some great Vegan businesses for my visiting families needs. Place has some lovely vintage charm!!
Faith's place was great. It was the perfect size for the three of us and has an awesome location. Parking near the apartment was a snap and the bus lines that we needed to take were really close by. There is a bit of train noise so be aware of that. Thanks for the awesome stay!
My husband and I stayed at Faith's for a quick trip to Portland and it was lovely. The apartment was very clean and spacious. The location was great with a coffee shop and restaurant right across the street. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, cute and quiet.
Big and clean. Awesome location. I hope its available the next time I visit Portland. And Faith was extraordinarily responsive and helpful.
Faith has a very simple yet charming apartment in a very central location in Portland. Located between Burnside and Hawthorne, it was an easy walk to all of my favorite locations in the city. The apartment has everything you need and can comfortably sleep 3 maybe 4. Overall, for the value, definitely worth it.
