I am a nonsmoker.
At first glance the neighborhood looks intimidating. Once you get to know what you are actually experiencing it’s a great place. Take a ride up to the fourth floor, walk up an antique staircase and relax on the open air deck while taking in a view of downtown Houston.
In comparing my place to similar offerings you will notice mine is very inexpensive. I enjoy hosting people and making new friendships. I do not do this for a living. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have.

Be clean, quiet and adventurous. You will have a key to the loft and access code to the building. Come and go as you wish with full access to everything in the loft.
Alan's place is my go-to downtown, home away from home. You wont find better accomodations for the price. Plus, Alan's creativity is constant, and the loft's decor is curated slightly differently and with something new to enjoy almost everytime!!
As always, I enjoyed my stay at Alan's place. The place is clean, comfortable, and has exceptional character. What's more, Alan is responsive, check-in and out is seamless, and you cant beat the location. I try to stay at Alan's whenever Im in Houston.
The reservation was canceled the day before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Alan was a great host. Overall, my stay was nice and I agree with all of his other reviews. I highly recommend staying with him if you can
This was my first time using airbnb and what a great experience it was. Alan's place was great in every way a place could be, I really would have enjoyed staying there longer. From the eclectic way he had the place decorated to how conformable his bed was, It's just crazy in that it was half of what a hotel and was 3 times as much fun. Alan's a great guy and I left feeling like I have a new friend in Houston. He even let me use his spot for my car so I didn't have to park on the street. A couple of things to keep in mind, Houston made my car's GPS a bit crazy, but once I knew the streets around his place, getting around there was a breeze. Second, it's hip area, and this is an old commercial building that was converted to lofts, so the area has that look to it. I'm looking forward to going back and staying again.
Impeccable style and Generous hospitality. Alan went above and beyond to make sure that I was at home in his place!
I am from Louisiana, but I have lived in Houston for thirteen years. I still don't own cowboy boots, a cowboy hat or a horse. I am an assistant principal in a local high school. I enjoy collecting art and attending concerts.
