The Space

Experience the charm and comfort of a fully renovated Cape built in 1793. Five miles from Dartmouth College and Hanover N.H. in the beautiful Connecticut River Valley.

There is no end to the wonderful things to do in this area including The Hopkins Center for the Arts, Hood Museum, hiking, biking, swimming, kayaking, canoeing, and Farmer's markets featuring fresh local foods. We are only miles away from Vermont and the historic town of Woodstock, The Billings Museum, Quechee Gorge, Simon Pearce Glass Blowers and Resturant , world famous King Arthur Flour, and the Montshire Museum, one of the ten best science museums in the country.
I have lived here since 1981 and know the area well enough to be able to help plan a wonderful stay. Also have my own Gourmet Food Business for the past 30 years.
Sept. and Oct. known as fall foliage is the most popular time to visit our area. Winter and Summer are equally enjoyable and offer their own activities.
I look forward to sharing my special place with you.

Large sitting room w/far infared sauna (dry sauna)
All on second floor, very private.

I would be happy to share all I know about the area and help plan where to go and where to eat.

  • Spent a very nice weekend in Hanover taking a class at King Arthur Flour in Norwich, VT. Phyllis was a terrific host. Her home is beautifully decorated and very clean and comfortable. Guests have complete privacy in the entire upstairs -- bedroom, living room and bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. The grounds and gardens are beautiful. Phyllis was very helpful with advice about restaurants and things to do in the area. I would definitely stay there again!

  • The listing was not what I expected. Rather, it was so much more! Phyllis is a wonderful host and a charming person. Her home is beautiful, situated in a gorgeous, park-like setting. She made us feel so at home that I was ready to move in:) The bed was super comfortable. Everything is top notch and very clean. I can't wait to go back. Our stay with Phyllis was the perfect ending to our road trip.

  • I had a fantastic time at Fox Hollow Farm! When I booked this airbnb, I had no idea that we'd be staying at the home of THE Fox Mustard- what a treat to stay with a food celebrity. Phyllis was very friendly and accommodating- she gave us great recommendations about hiking and places to go in town. The house itself is beautiful… in a gorgeous wooded area with great views. The room (floor, really!) was private and very, very comfortable- I had some of the best sleep I've gotten in years. After staying in a hotel in Hanover the night before, I'd choose staying with Phyllis at Fox Hollow again every time. Thank you so much, Phyllis, for the lovely stay!

  • Fox Hollow Farm is amazing! The house is beyond charming, cozy, tastefully decorated, comfortable, neat and tidy. The grounds are magical, surrounded by groves of pine tress, impeccable gardens, flowers, and a swimming pond! Phyllis is a warm and accommodating hostess and we felt very comfortable coming and going at our convince. Our room was well appointed and private, we practically had the entire top floor to ourselves. Phyllis is so sweet she even gave us a jar or her own Fox More Than A Mustard that was amazing on grilled chicken. This airbnb is better than a hotel and not to be missed! More than 5 stars.

  • Phyllis was excellent and gracious. She is a world traveler and her farm is truly a charming cape but also chic to health and wellness. The bedroom is very private, you have a whole 2nd floor of the house to yourself, sauna included and a great property. Her property is just a few minutes out of Hanover/Dartmouth on a scenic route adjacent to CT River and Golf Course. I plan on staying here again when visiting Dartmouth.

  • We loved staying with Phyllis in her beautiful home! She gave us such a lovely warm welcome so we felt completely at home. Phylis gave us some excellent recommendations for where to eat and even printed off directions for us. Breakfast was just delicious and to top it all off Phyllis even gave us some pots of her delicious fox hollow farm mustard sauce which we have been enjoying throughout our travels! Thank you Phyllis for your generous hospitality and we hope to visit again soon!

  • Driving up to Fox Hollow Farm we could sense the magic of this home nestled on a quiet country road. Phyllis made us feel welcome the moment we arrived. Our room was pretty and had all of her special touches – we had the 2nd floor to ourselves. It was clean and updated with the renovations throughout the cape honoring the history of the past. Our breakfast was delicious! Phyllis made us feel at home - we would be happy to stay in this peaceful haven again! Thank you for your kindness and for creating such a memorable stay. -Merillyn and Marty

  • My wife and I were blown away by how beautiful this home was. The pictures do not do it justice. We were fortunate to stay in early October so we saw the peak New Hampshire foliage. Phylis' 5 acres were covered with trees turned to yellows, reds and oranges. If we had more time I would have spent it sipping coffee near the pond to the side of the house.
Phylliss was very attentive and helpful. She provided us breakfast in the morning and answered any questions we had about the town of Hanover. My wife also took advantage of the infrared sauna. We highly recommend this for your next trip.

  • I spent a night at Phyllis's home on a day-trip to visit Dartmouth. Phyllis was terrific. The house was incredibly home-y and comfortable, and Phyllis was a wonderful hostess. Highly recommended.

  • Phylis had her house tastefuly refurbished in beautiful location, in quiete part of the woods not far from main road, ideal for a quiet B&B with easy access. Room and amenities are just right. Her venture in B&B is relatively recent and it seemed to me that Phylis is not yet sure whether she prefers her morning yoga meditation, or preparing breakfast for her guests. As a result, you may be struggling to leave before 10am. I would stay again, but would negotiate breakfast time beforehand!
