The place has a lot of great character, much of that being the classic antique brownstone style. Part of its character and charm are the old pine wood and tile floors, marked and worn from good living.
Pristine chic with fancy appliances is not what we offer, but if you like cozy, down-home antique charm, please be our guest!
Tom is an excellent host, very responsive and well organized. His list of local recommendations was much appreciated, as well as the tea and coffee. The apartment is clean, quiet, and convenient for the 9th St. subway, and well located for Park Slope's many offerings. Pick-up and drop-off of keys was very easy.
Really enjoyed my stay at Tom's, I was visiting during a very cold spell and this apartment was a lovely respite from the chill outside. Easy to checkin and out and really relaxing. Thanks Tom! Great neighborhood as well
Nancy and I were in New York City (Brooklyn) to visit our daughter, we found this cute studio apartment in Park Slope only a block away from our daughter.... The studio was Cozy and Quiet and worked out perfectly for us... We were out and about on the town most of the time (saw 3 broadway shows) and it was easy to get around as the subway was close by...It is cold in January in Brooklyn , but the radiator heater kept the studio warm and cozy.. The queen bed was very comfortable and the water pressure and all the hot water we needed was great... Tom was great and always available to respond to any e-mails... Needless to say we had a great time and will be back....
Tom's apartment was exactly as described. It was perfect for the show we were going to see nearby, and the apartment was cute and lovely. It was very clean and easy to check in and out. I would definitely recommend staying here if you have things to do in the park slow/gowanus area of Brooklyn!
Tom was friendly and very responsive, his place was charming and clean. It was a quick trip but we always enjoy Park Slope and would definitely stay here again.
Tom's place is a wonderfully quiet, private, comfortable, and clean home base from which to explore a vibrant, walkable neighborhood full of charming shops, restaurants and more. It's an unbeatable value.
