Unlike many other Balinese complexes, Green T. House is part of the unique Tony's T-Houses which offers visitors the chance to stay in an environmentally friendly and ecologically sustainable compound which is also part of the local Balinese village farm life and culture. Therefore there is the opportunity for much interaction with the local people and animals, whom you will observe working in rice-fields and gardens, dogs, roosters, cows, chickens, geckos, and so on, as well as passing through the houses and walkways and working around them during their daily routines.
If you're looking for a quiet, absolute privacy, serene villa miles from village life this is not the place.

The village of Lodtunduh, located 7 minutes away from Ubud, remains a traditional rice farming and carving village. The people are very friendly and all our workers are from the village. They have plenty to give us and will often ask you to share their food and festivals. Our mini-village is entered from one of the Lodtunduh streets through the local farmers yard on what was previously rather underutilized land passed through on the way to the rice fields and the river. The locals continue to pass through on their chores and it will continue to amaze you as to how many little tasks go to make up the local eco-culture - Hindu ceremonies, offerings, catching eels, rounding up ducks, grazing cows and pigs, picking plants for food and fuel, catching dragonflies, flying kites. Much of the action is seasonal. Remember the Balinese use a lunar calendar and the full and dark moons have strong presence.
Very close to Pelangi school. Yoga barn is 4k.

We can organise. Rp. 350,000R (US $30)

The complex is fully serviced by 8 trained staff and our helpfull manager Wayan.

Our staff can either recommend cars with drivers at reasonable rates (approx. US$3/each way to Ubud center) or can arrange hire cars from approx. $19/day. The drive to Ubud is approximately 5 minutes. You can also walk to Ubud through the ricefields and the Monkey Forest, a 30 minute adventure.

I stayed at Susannah's house for close to a month. It's lovely and the people who work there are terrific. They helped with laundry, transport, whatever I needed. I liked watching all the kids play in the pool and the light over the rice paddies changes by the hour so is a constant show. Susannah was in the USA, but always responded quickly with any questions. This house is open plan and there are critters. ( geckos, a few ants) It didn't bother me because it was expected. I kind of came to love the gecko chatter. The beds are way comfortable and with breeze and fans sleeping was good. Bed has good mosquito nets. It's close to central ubud. Best close place to eat is warung 9, walking distance. Photos are accurate. I lived in outdoor space ( even during heavy rain) and in bedroom.

Our stay in Ubud T house Klod was spectacular. My only gripe is I wish we would have stayed longer than 3 days. They have 24 hr security and the staff is lovely, made sure we were taken care of and the house was always kept cleaned. The house itself was just beautiful and our neighbors were friendly and quiet. I also like that animals were there to accompany us, we even made friends with a dog and named her Aimee.... it truly felt like home. No AC was needed because of how it's constructed, very eco friendly and air flows all over the house, very open and spacious. I truly loved staying there and can't wait for future stays. I also like Suwesin, our driver who drove us around a few times... Susanna made sure all our needs were met, even contacted me before our check in date to make sure we had transportation. ... it truly was an amazing experience...thank you

Lovely little house in a quiet group. Perfect for those who have their own transport and want to feel connected to nature. Not much privacy between the bedrooms so would suit a family with youngish children (who don't mind steep stairs) best.

We stayed for 5 nights at Fusion villa and were really happy. The pool is amazing with a stunning view of the paddy fields. We will almost definitely return. The kids had so much fun in the pool and it's within sight of the house so if we needed to get something from the house if was not big deal. The outside eating area was awesome and we spent two nights eating outside watching the sun go down over the paddy fields. The women who work at the T-House were great. One night we paid for them to cook us dinner in our house and it was really reasonably priced, good food and just so nice to be cooked for at home. We often went for a walk in the paddy fields early in the morning too- it's quite an experience. At first I thought the house was a bit small but actually there's plenty of storage and it's a really cool house - Balinese and traditional. I was also a bit nervous about the 'open air' nature of the sleeping area but we came to love the crazy sounds and with the mossie nets around the beds and some spray we were fine. The T-House staff were excellent and always helpful. I loved having brekky cooked for me each morning - but 8am is a bit late for us - my kids are awake and hungry by 6.30am!! The only other negative was we didn't have any hot water in the shower. I did mention this to the T-House staff but nothing happened. Be prepared to spend $5 in a taxi each way to get to town - but it's worth staying a bit out of town to have such a unique and special experience.
