Bettye's house was perfect for our stay, and she is a wonderful host. We are also airbnb hosts, and we were impressed with everything. The house was renovated by an architect, and everything is beautiful, from the hand-made doors to the tile floors. The beds are comfy, there are lots of good quality towels, and the kitchen is fully equipped for cooking if you wish. We were able to easily get to the center of town easily by walking or taking a taxi or bus. On our first morning Bettye brought us some fresh orange juice, yogurt and bread. Totally unexpected but nice! And she took the time to chat and answer our many questions, including advice for Americans considering moving to Mexico. You couldn't ask for a better place to stay in Merida.
This is the final rate, including any fees from the host and Airbnb.
