  • Staying with Henrik was for me and my friends very first airbnb experience, and I am so glad it was at this place! We were announced on very last moment to come, and Henrik provided us with all neccessary information prior to arrival! We had a very comfortable sleep and bath all you can need, and even we had a nice Sunday breakfest together. In the middle of autumn you have actually a feeling of being inside the bird's nest there:) surrounded with very sharming garden and little houses calm neighbourhood. It was just perfect xample of what I imagine when going on airbnb trip - you have a wonderful typical plac for the region and you get to know locals at the same time. Thank you!!

  • Lovely spacious private rooms, in an airy renovated apartment ideally located near the sights and going out areas.

Henrik is a true gent, avid traveller, source of Nordic wisdom and great host. He'll give you tips and cook you breakfast if you want, or he'll leave you to be.

  • The Bird's Nest is a comfortable, sunny apartment with contemporary design and architecture of high quality and good taste.
It has great views over a quaint neighborhood close to the city center and easy to get to. Henrik is worldly, engaging and incredibly accommodating…
offering directions & suggestions , even homemade norgwegien meals and fresh baked morning bread. He anticipates your every need while not at all imposing.
Extraordinary stay. One of our most memorable experiences in Oslo ...Thank you Henrik!

  • Staying at Henrik's place was a pleasure. I was in town for a conference and wanted a good spot to spend my evenings and nights. That's exactly what Henrik's place delivered. The neighborhood is very quiet and green, the appartment is spacious with lots of natural light and very clean.

What's maybe even more important: Henrik was a terrific host. Always up for chat and he has plenty of information and stories about Oslo. Recommended.

  • Great experience, lovely apartment, Great host. He gives you the lower floor which is very comfortable. He's a friendly, attentive but nicely low-key host. Apartment has nice views, in cool neighborhood and only about 0.7km from downtown (10 minute walk). A bit tricky to find but he provides maps, just follow them carefully and you will get there.

  • We spent three wonderful days at Henriks bird nest. Henrik is really great host and we look forward to see him again. We arrived very late in Oslo and he guided us the last steps to his modern and really nice apartment, when we got a little lost. He gave us a warm welcome with norwegian beer and some snacks. Henrik took the time to show us some nice spots in Oslo at our first day. Henrik is a great dialog partner and he is very well versed in historical issues. He is a super guide in many languages... At our last evening Henrik cooked some typicall norwegian food and we had a nice and funny evening togehter.
We all wish to come back.
If you visit Oslo, stay at Henriks!

Danke sehr, Henrik. (Lucile Barras, Berlin)

I have lived in this quiet part of the very centre of Oslo for 15 years. I am an independent project manager. My passions are people, history, art, languages and travelling. I spend time in my garden just outside the apartment. (You may of course use it too). I speak Norwegian, English, Italian and German. With a patient listener I sometimes manage to make myself understood in French. Please tell me a bit about yourself :-)
