First things First!!! This is too cool for school Brick lane we are talking about. The area hosts some of the best night spots, art galleries and restraunts in London so please be aware if your staying on a Friday or Saturday night it can be rather noisy in the area till about 2am.
This area is known as 'Banglatown.' It is the heart of the Bangladeshi community. Brick Lane is famous for it's Sunday Market and it's curry houses and is a must on a tourists to-do list.

This fully self contained apartment is on Brick Lane;
1 min walk to the Truman Brewery,
6 min walk to Aldgate East Station
5 min walk to famous Spitalfields market
10 min walk to Liverpool Street Station (where you can catch the CENTRAL LINE - 2 Stops to St Pauls - 4 Stops to West End - 6 stops to Oxford st - 7 stops to Bond st and Selfridges 11 Stops to Notting Hill and Portabello Rd)
2 min walk to #25 bus stop (10 mins to Oxford Circus, runs 24hrs)

This is a fully self contained studio with full functioning kitchen.

  • We stayed at Bricklane Shoreditch Studio 6 for 2 nights and it was great! It was easy to get hold of the key; the instructions were perfect. There was plenty of bed space with clean bedding and they even provided clean towels. The area was a tad noisy, but we had expected it and it ended soon after midnight when the curry houses close! We have only two minor criticisms. The first is that, although there was some information about the local area, there was no advice on where to get a good curry! It would have been nice to get some local input. Secondly, the flat was particularly dusty, probably caused by the renovation works in the stairwell! Overall, we were very pleased and will definitely be using airbnb again, we will even try to find this apartment again next time we are in London! :o)

  • We had a nice stay with our 3 kids in this studio. The location is really good - close to the tube and to the Tower of London. Eating out is easy and it's paradise if you love curries.
Vincent and Alice warn for the noise from the street and that is not an idle threat. But it'(email hidden)ly sort of noise (people talking and laughing - who could object to that?) and we slept well, even on the Saterday night. Bring earplugs if you are sensitive to noise. The beds were all okay. The rest of the apartment is very basic but with beautiful London outside the door you are not going to spend to much time inside. We would recommend them to fix the door to the apartment, it looks like someone broke it down at some time.
The only downside was that the TV was hardly working and neither was the Wifi. Vincent and Alice have a maintenance guy who was most helpful and very friendly but we were stuck with a very unreliable TV.
All in all, this is a nice and basic studio to explore London.

  • The location of the apartment is amazing! Bricklane is the place to be.
The apartment is tiny but really sweet. All in all I really recommend the apartment and the area.

  • Great experience. Apartment clean and in a fantastic location. As you would expect, there is street noise, but this is people spilling out of restaurants at 11pm rather than street fights at 2am. (N.B. We stayed mid-week, but we saw very few bars and clubs on the street itself, so we don't expect weekends would be much noisier.) Very little noise from other apartments. The area felt safe and fun.

Very spacious for 2 people, and a lot cheaper than staying in a hotel in this area. Fully-equipped kitchen, so you can save cash by eating in, too. We didn't use the bed settees, but they looked good quality.

Communication from Alice was very prompt, and instructions were clear and easy.

  • This is a nice and beautiful apartment in the heart of Brick Lane with
lots of vintage shops and delicious indian food. It's just a short walk
to Liverpool street (Zone 1, Central Line), so you are living close to everything there is to see.
