The Hilltop Chalet offers the perfect blend of mountain luxury and serene nature. We designed this chalet with one goal in mind: to create a space where you can retreat, restore, and reconnect. Here, you can breathe deeply under a canopy of forest, soak in the hot tub, refresh in the cold plunge, or unwind in the barrel sauna. At night, gather around the firepit under a blanket of stars. This is a place for balance — where nature’s simplicity meets modern comfort.

The space
The Hilltop Chalet is less than 2 hours from NYC or Philadelphia and is perfectly located: just 15 minutes from skiing at Shawnee Mountain, 20 minutes from the Delaware Water Gap and miles of hiking trails, and 25 minutes from Stroudsburg and East Stroudsburg for vibrant dining and entertainment. Whether you’re looking for a couple’s escape, a wellness retreat, or a small family or friends getaway, this chalet is the perfect setting.

Perched on a hilltop in a peaceful wooded setting filled with red oak, white pine, and sassafras, the Chalet is both a relaxing haven and an ideal jumping-off point for your Pocono Mountain adventure. Enjoy birdwatching and quiet mornings with coffee on the deck, or head out to explore the many trails, rivers, and towns nearby.

Inside the Chalet Living Space – Open concept kitchen/dining/living room with soaring pine ceiling, a cozy pellet stove, and comfortable seating. Perfect for relaxing or entertaining.

*BEDROOMS – 3 bedrooms. Master (King) + Guest (Queen) + Kids or Singles (2 Twins + Nintendo Switch Game Setup).

*BATHROOMS – 2 bathrooms. 1 Upstairs and 1 Downstairs. Both fully remodeled with tile floors, wood ceilings, vanities, toilets, and custom Italian tile bath/shower surrounds.

*KITCHEN & DINING – Full kitchen with stove/oven, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and basic cookware/utensils. 6-person indoor dining table + 6 person outdoor dining table.

* LAUNDRY – Washer/dryer in kitchen for guest use.

*TVs – 65" Smart TV in the living for your streaming needs + 42" Smart TV in upstairs Kids/Singles Room with a Nintendo Switch.

*GAMING SYSTEM - Nintendo Switch with 4 controllers in upstairs bedroom. Games include Mario Cart, Minecraft, and More...

OUTSIDE THE CHALET

*DECKS – Spacious main deck with gas BBQ (propane provided), comfortable seating, and views of the firepit and forest. A great spot for morning coffee, dining, nature watching, or evening stargazing.

*BARREL SAUNA – An outdoor oversized barrel sauna to relax and detox. This glass-fronted sauna provides incredible views of the hillside and firepit.

* HOT TUB: A 4-person hot tub is located off of the main deck at the rear of the house - The hot tub overlooks the firepit and expansive woods and nature.

* COLD PLUNGE: For heat/cold therapy lovers, we have included a stock tank that can be used as a cold plunge. This is ideal for use within sauna sessions, or as a cool refreshing dip in the summer. The cold plunge can be filled with fresh, cool, well water using the garden hose. This does not include a chiller and water temperature will be dependent on outside temperature and/or the temperature of ground water.

*Please note that the outdoor cold plunge may not be available at times in the winter months due to low temperatures - please check in advance for availability as it all depends on whether outdoor fresh water can be provided to fill it or not.

* FIREPIT – Year-round. Bring your own wood. Surrounded by string lights and forest views.

*YARD – Peaceful wooded grounds perfect for nature/birdwatching, or outdoor games.

Guest access
The Hilltop Chalet is located within a non-gated rural community - the final road to the Chalet is gravel. Speed limits on these roads are 25 mph or less (less is better). Guests will be required to sign a "short-term lease" for the duration of your stay. These will be provided to guests following booking and prior to arrival. To complete this paperwork, each guest must provide a copy of your drivers license.

Guests will be given access information that will be good for the duration of your stay.

Guests will have full access to all of the property with the exception of 2 locked storage/linen closets.

Heating/AC: High-efficiency heat pump for year-round comfort + Pellet stove for ambience in the winter months.

Quiet rural community. The house is located on a gravel road. Car recommended. Speed limit 25 mph.

No fireworks, glitter, or candles.

Absolutely no smoking inside the house.

3 outside cameras located at the 1) front entrance and 2 & 3) overlooking both front and rear yards for security and safety

Guests must be 18+ (children with parents allowed). No parties or events.

Rural non-gated community with some gravel roads. Outstanding for walking, birdwatching, and enjoying nature. Short walk down the hill to a mountain stream. Miles of gravel roads to walk amongst the woods and houses. Close to Delaware Water Gap and Shawnee Mountain Skiing, miles upon miles of hiking trails, ATV, horseback riding, public lakes and rivers.
