Our centrally located two room apartment (42m²) comfortably fits three or four people and is fully furnished with a nice kitchen with everything you will need; fridge, dishwasher etc. Groceries, cafe's, public transportation, a bakery, restaurants, bikerental, coin laundry, everything is close by. Free parking in the street.
You are renting a full apartment with everything included. I live there myself and rent it out whenever I am gone for some time. Therefore everything will be there for sleeping and living.
The apartment has a nice living room with underfloor heating, an electric piano (not available right now), a high class stereo and a 32" TV that can be used for watching movies etc. No cable TV.
The bedroom has a good king size double bed.
The kitchen has everything that would be expected in a kitchen where somebody lives; a big fridge w/freezer, a dishwasher, a gas stove and of cause normal kitchen equipment.
The bathroom is quite small, but what of it; are you going to use your whole stay on showering?
Since I normally live in the apartment myself the shelf space is somewhat used. You are free to use any free space.
Everything you find in the fridge you can use as you please, same thing with the spices and any other food.
This is not an actual bed and breakfast with breakfast served every morning. You'll have to go shop yourself, but hey, that means that you will get it exactly as you want it.
The apartment is placed in the neighborhood of Copenhagen called Nørrebro (literally north bridge), close to the center of the neighborhood.
Within a two minutes walk you will find three grocery stores with opening hours from 7 in the morning to 12 in the night, at least three bars, the coin laundry, cafes, flower shops, a hairdresser, bakery, kebab place, Moroccan restaurant, pizza place, butcher and a fish store.
Four minutes walk from the apartment is a bike rental, where you can rent a bike for a day for EU8/DKK60.
Something about the neighborhood
Over the last couple of decades Nørrebro has evolved from being a working class area into one of the city's hottest quarters. If you want to shop for clothes, exotic food, bric-a-brac or antiques – the multicultural Nørrebro is the place to be.
Vibrant, colourful, casual and young at heart. Nørrebro (email hidden)ly area of Copenhagen. You will find trendy bars and fashionable designer shops next door to dodgy dive bars and cheap kebab places. If you are into small design shops, head for Elmegade or Jægersborggade, and if you like antiques Ravnsborggade is the place to go. At Sankt Hans Torv and the streets around it you have several choices for dinner and drinks. In the nearby Cemetery (Assistens Kirkegård) you will find the graves of people like the great danish poet H. C. Andersen and H. C. Ørsted, the great danish scientist, who discovered electromagnetism. The Cemetery is 10 minutes walk from the apartment.
Public transportation is literally a 3 minutes walk from the apartment. From there, the central station (Københavns Hovedbanegård) is 21 minutes away with the 6A bus. The city Copenhagen center (Nørreport) is 11 minutes away with the same bus. The bus leaves every seven minutes.
Where ever you want to go, look up your journey at the website "rejseplanen" which you will easily find online.
If you are traveling by car, you'll find free parking space just outside the apartment.
Since I only have bed sheets for three visitors, you will have to bring a sleeping bag or sheets if you are four visitors. A mattress, though, is provided for the fourth visitor.

Good location with frequent public transport, easy to reach the city centre. The apartment had everything we needed with a nice kitchen and lounge to relax in - although we never did figure out the TV! Two supermarkets round the corner made it simple to buy food to cook. Would definitely recommend as a good base to explore Copenhagen
Do you think Hans Frederik could be your host? Maybe some words to let you know: clean, cosy, native, well-being, good location, near to everything, quiet and no circumstances...
I would say: Yes, he can! :-)
Die Wohnung von Hans Frederik war sehr gemütlich, klein aber fein, einheimisch, gut gelegen, ruhig, eingerichtet und ausserdem hatten wir keinerlei Umstände beim Buchen, Schlüsselübergabe etc... Empfehlenswert!
Perfect apartment for a short stay in Copenhagen. Very conveniently located, everything around the corner and close enough to all the sightseeing stuff. Good and clear instructions, no questions were left open. Without meeting Hans, it was easy to find and get in.
The apartment itself is cosy and clean, the kitchen modern and functional. We stayed 3 nights and cooked on all of them without any trouble. The shower is probably a matter of taste. We didn't find it inconvenient at all. When someone lets go of the door to the back yard, it will slam audibly, but that happens maybe once or twice a day, never at night. So no problems here either.
In general we enjoyed our stay immensely and would recommend the apartment to anyone without reservations.
We have not met Hans but it was a very pleasant stay. The instructions to find the apartment were clear and we found it without problems. The apartment is not far from city center. It is about 30 minutes walk or 10 minutes by bus. The apartment itself is good. The small inconvenience was the bathroom where shower was integrated together with toilet into very small room. We stayed for 2 nights and this did not bother us much. Kitchen is modern and has everything you need to be able to cook or just heat. There are 2 supermarkets just around the corner. Very pleasant stay overall.
The apartement is very nice, ideal even when visiting the city for a couple of days. It's an old building so the walls are thin, but being in Copenhagen covers it all up. It's a nice neighborhood with 2 supermarkets just around the corner and several coffeebars in a 2 minutes walk reach. The apartement is clean, basic and practical. You feel like a true Copenhagener. The kitchen is convenient, as I expected it to be. I would definitely recommend this place to others ;o)
And as for the bathroom: it's funny and not at all inconvenient. The water is warm and the showerhead is bigger than regular. I'm a picky girl, but the bathroom/toilet didn't bother me at all.
Very nice ! a bright and comfy appartment, perfect when visiting Copenhagen for a few days. Hans' instructions made it easy to find.
Everything was functionnal and clean + a full-equiped kitchen. The bathroom suprised us a bit in the beginning, but it wasn't so bothering afterall.
2 supermarkets within a 3min walk, and various bus-stops to reach the city center.
We'd stay here again with pleasure :)
Great apartment in a very nice area of the city. It's very easy to explore the entire city with several bus stops near the apartment. I would highly recommend Hans' place and would stay here again if I'm back in Copenhagen! Very good wi-fi!
I had a great say in Hans and Lissie's apartment. The location is very convenient and the apartment has everything you need. Comfortable bed, couch and nicely equipped kitchen. It is also very nice that basics such as oil/spices/toothpaste are already in the house and you don't need to buy them yourself.
I was bit concerned about the shower beforehand, but this turned out to be not necessary. Sure, it's not what you may be used to, but the water pressure is good so I found it quite comfortable for my 2 weeks stay.
Hans was a great host and helped me out when I had problems with the internet (it was a problem of my laptop) and with any questions that I had.
I had a great 5-night stay at Hans Frederik and Lissie's apartment. I was traveling on my own, with limited mobility, and the ground floor flat suited me perfectly. The shower was fine - but I had been expecting the typical Copenhagen apartment shower, partly from my son's experience looking for an apartment there, and also the reviews of the flat itself. Hans Frederik was quick to respond to emails when I needed to contact him, and the instructions on how to find the apartment and how to get in were clear and straightforward. The area was great both for shops and for bus routes into and across town. Well-equipped kitchen. The only downside was the absence of a coffee machine the first few days . H-F apologised that the old one was broken and that he could only get to replace it on the third day, which he duly did, complete with a new pack of coffee. I'd certainly stay again.
I had an amazing stay together with my best freind at Hans Frederiks appartment. The appartment was nice furnished and we found everything we needed. A walk to the center of Copenhagen lasts approximately 40 minutes, but there are many bike rental opportunities or bus (email hidden)e only downside was the shower, which was not that comfortable. I would definitely come again :)
