You will find our rental rates on Airbnb to be very competitive and include Hawaii taxes. Our rates are also structured with discounts based on length-of-stay beginning with seven nights or more.
Our Puamana vacation town home is located next to the world class Westin Resort at the end of a private road about 1/4 mile from the main road running through the Princeville Resort. In this serene and secluded setting, the only sounds you are exposed to are bird calls, and the rustling of palm trees in the trade winds. With no one living above or below you as would be the case in a condo, a relaxing peace and quiet awaits you when you return from a day of exploring our beautiful island. Unlike other rental properties here at Puamana that have loft type bedrooms, our town home features three bedrooms that are fully enclosed and totally private. We provide everything you would need to make your stay enjoyable and memorable: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, laundry/dishwasher detergent for the length of your stay. Linens, towels, plus beach/pool towels, cable TV and ROKU Service for streaming Netflix movies, Pandora music and many other ROKU channels, telephone and high speed broadband, high end cookware, utensils and appliances. The list goes on.
Our Town Home features a suite sized master bedroom with it's own private full bathroom and lanai. It also has a ground floor bedroom and private lanai, a real benefit for anyone with limited mobility. A third bedroom is located upstairs, across from the mater bedroom. Additionally, a top-of-the-line raised air mattress is available for additional sleeping accommodations (maximum of eight guests). This would be far more comfortable than sleeping on a fold-out sofa bed or futon.
The Princeville Resort is located on Kauai's North Shore where you are just minutes away from exploring her many wondrous attractions such as pristine, secluded beaches, the best Kauai has to offer. Beautiful Anini beach is just a 10 to 15 minute walk from our Puamana town home. Great snorkeling, windsurfing, board surfing, or swimming are just minutes away by car as well. A hike on the Kalalau Trail along the Na Pali Coast reveals unparalleled vistas of ocean, mountains, waterfalls, and sheer cliffs that will stay with you forever. And for the golf enthusiast, Princeville is the home of two world class golf courses, the Maikai Course and the Prince Course ranked #1 in Hawaii by Golf Magazine.

Karl and Rachel were very accommodating and were very concerned to make sure that we got into and out of and enjoyed our time in their home. The location is perfect--right up the street from an amazing beach. The neighborhood is perfectly quiet--we all slept well.
All the information regarding location and rules and regulations was provided before hand. They responded to all our questions promptly. The discription of the neighbourhood was accurate, it was quiet and peaceful. It was easy to drive to the Na Pali coast and to the beaches on the north coast. I would definitely choose this location again.
Karl was very helpful and responded to all our questions/emails very promptly. The condo was great, in a good location, quiet neighborhood, and the grocery store was close by. It was very nice to have beach toys there for the kids, and we did use the pool and grill often. We had a wonderful time in Kauai, we would definitely recommend Karl & Rachel as hosts and hope to go back again soon!
The whole experience, from reservation through the actual stay, was great. We had a group of 15 folks, some of who stayed at this property. Everyone had a great time...highly recommend this property!
The location, accommodations, directions and communications were all top notch. Everything we needed, down to plastic forks, was there for our use. This is a must recommend location!
Highly recommend staying here! Karl&Rachel's condo was everything as advertised and more. We had come to Kauai for a wedding -- and the 3 bedrooms were very convenient as we added a guest within the last week (and communicating with Karl regarding this was very easy). The Princeville location is unbeatable on the north shore -- close to Hanalei a short drive along the coast to the trailhead for Kalaulau (near Ke'e Beach). The condo itself was clean, furnished, and the kitchen had pretty much everything one could ask for -- making it easy to stock food and cook at home when we wanted to). The Foodland grocery store is nearby. The lanai (patio) leading out the main living room was a nice place to sit and enjoy coffee every morning. And there was parking available for two cars! The overall cost of the trip was so worth it (others from the wedding party spend at least 3-4x what we ended up paying for the same location in Princeville). Thank you Karl in being responsive to our questions -- and for giving us all the information we needed in advance for our stay.

About the Host, Karl&Rachel
My wife, Rachel, and I first visited Kauai in the early eighties and just got hooked. We bought our first vacation rental property in 2001 at Sandpiper Village in Princeville and spent about 5-1/2 months renovating it. We dreamed that one day we might be able to make Kauai our permanent home, and we were fortunate to actually make this happen in January of 2006. We bought our second vacation rental property at Puamana in August of last year (2010), as our second vacation rental property. and after a renovation period, placed it on line as a 3 bedroom 2 bath townhouse vacation rental.
My wife still works as a flight attendant and I am retired (for all the guys out there, I'll be writing a book soon about how to make that happen). However, I keep busy managing both properties, when we're not dancing, playing softball/tennis, or at the beach. One of the advantages of living here on Kauai and offering vacation properties for rent is that any issues with units that may arise are addressed immediately and decisively through direct communication between the guests and me, the owner. There is no go-between management company in the loop to delay any action that may be required. It's a win-win for everyone.
