This apartment with classic features (67m2, garden 56 m2), is located in the famous 1e Helmersstraat, nearby the Vondelpark (1 minute), Leidsesquare (maximum 5 minutes by tram) and offers you all the comfort you need during a stay in Amsterdam.
The house offers:
-a big living room in the front with a double bed, and a room ensuite which can be separated by a sliding door.
-a kitchen with all the equipment you need
-a spacious hallway
-a big garden in the back
-a washing machine
In the garden there's enough room to eat, to chill out a little bit.
It's the perfect place to stay with the vibrant city center (Leidseplan, the canals) around the corner, and the tranquil Vondelpark as well. In 20 minutes you're at Schiphol Airport. It's my favourite part of town.
The house has a nice atmosphere, it's furnished in a vintage mixed modern way.

As far as the apartment goes, it is in a nice residential area, right by the tram that can take you downtown in minutes. Also an easy walk to the bustling Leidsplein square. The beds were comfortable and the back garden nice. The place isn't super clean and could use a new shower curtain, but overall a comfortable stay
Olga helped me out when my entire bag got stolen in Vondelpark. She gave me a new key and met me in the park, gave me five euro and was very sympathetic.
However, as far as hosting went, she didn't go over anything within the apartment, we didn't know where any dishes were or the tricks of the bathroom. There was no going over the neighborhood or tips on where to go in the city, no maps. There wasn't a sheet with directions or instructions and no trash bags in the apartment. We also had a mix up about checking in and out. I waited outside for around 3 hours and while Olga was nice enough to extend our checkout time, she was late and had me leave the key around the (email hidden), which in turn made us late for our next check in.
I would stay here again, just be sure you've prepared your own list of things to do around town.
We stayed at Olga's beautiful apartment for 2 nights. We loved all the photography, and lighting etc, it gave a great sense of what it could be like living in Amsterdam. We had no problems finding it and it was a quick tram ride from the center. Lovely area, and the road was gorgeous.
The bath was very quirky which we all enjoyed, quite an experience showering in a cupboard!
We slept very well, the beds were very comfy. Shame we couldn't meet, but Olga was very communicative. WIFI worked perfectly. Would recommend this apartment for anyone who wants to explore Amsterdam.
Well located, thanks to the tram you're in the center of A'dam within minutes. Nice host. Pretty appartment, quiet, simply furnished, hot water, good central heating, no beds but palets on the floor, but we slept well. Nice bathtub in an alcove, but no ventilation, same goes for the toilet, so you better know and like each other well if you rent this place. The kitchen is pretty, but definitely needs thorough cleaning.
Amazing. Great flat. Spacious. Nice garden, and a very accommodating host.
Olga is a good and friendly host!
the apartment is located in a very nice neighborhood.
Pretty original apartment.
Olga was very communicative and was able to get us into her place very last minute. She made sure everything was OK once we arrived in Amsterdam. Her place is easily accessible with the tram (or on foot) to the hotspots in the city center. Thank you Olga!!
Such a lovely host. Made the short stay very easy and comfortable.
My colleague enjoyed this apartment very much.
It is a classical nice Amsterdam apartment with everything you need to stay and even feel like home. Olga is a good and friendly host!
Olga was a great host and the apartment was fantastic! The outdoor garden was my favorite part! It pretty much comes with everything you need including and automatic espresso maker (which I used twice a day!). All the facilities were clean and worked great. I really didn't have a problem while I was staying at her place.
