  • This cozy studio is actually a funky Designer loft and is equipped with everything you might need including cutlery, 2 burner hob, sandwich maker, coffee machine etc. Georgina is great & speaks English well. Upon arrival she had fruit, flowers, filtered water and English guide books for us & also helped with Restaurant selection. Location is safe & we parked our car outside and the downtown street is intermittently busy day & night so there is some traffic noise. Very close to walk downtown - we never used our car. There is also a good tourist office downtown and we picked up another map there. The antique bed was firm and big enough for us at 5'8" and Georgia had thoughtfully provided night eye shades in case you need to blackout all light when sleeping at night.
Neighbour plays his music loud on Sunday but it did not start until 11 am and was never at a high volume in the evenings. We had the use of a TV but we never used it. WIFI worked great.
We had great fun both at the loft and visiting the amazing sights of Queretaro.
If you get the chance check out the band stand schedule as one evening we spent an enjoyable couple of hours listening to the 15? piece band who played 2 sets -first some band music and then dance music for the impeccably dressed locals to dance to. Foldup chairs appeared magically and we even received a gift of an ice- cream from the local resident seated next to my wife. We think maybe he owns the ice cream store as we saw that he also was treating other attractive potential dance partners.
So we had a good time and our prior concern of seeing the ironwork security?bars up the stairs in the photo turned out to be unfounded and it actually added to the funky atmosphere. Also the unique fridge with wooden doors and a marble top was also quite adequate for our needs. The pedestal bathroom sink does dual function as the kitchen sink but that worked out OK for us as we did little cooking although there was a fry pan & a pot should you need them.
Georgina has a creative designer eye that can be seen expressed in her studio and she goes out of her way to make your stay memorable.

  • Georgina was really easy to get it touch with, as she has an office just around the corner, and she was very helpful, answered all our questions, and even helped us get a taxi on the way out. It's a really nice place, gets great light in the morning, and it's close to downtown so even though there's no kitchen, meals are easy to come by.

  • Georgina is so nice & her place is very cute, & well-located. Prior to arriving we had asked about a coffee pot & when we arrived she had a brand new coffee pot for us to use! Plus she had whole bean coffee & a coffee grinder--needless to say, we really enjoyed our morning coffee!! The first night we were a little warm so we asked for fans--she brought 2 fans right over for us! The second night, we slept very well because the fans also provided some white noise that cancelled out the street noise. The shower is on the second floor & she is a new hot water heater so we had nice warm showers! The toilet/sink is on the first floor, off of the sitting area. If you were staying there with a friend, the futon in the sitting area could easily be used as a second bed. Georgina also has some great antiques, including her bed. My husband & I are both 6 ft. tall, making an antique bed frame a bit tight but we like cuddling! Overall, great experience & we highly recommend it!

  • We had a wonderful stay in beautiful Queretaro! Georgina is a very lovely lady, who was happy to help us in any way she could to make the most of our short stay. The studio is super cute, and in the perfect location for walking the magical streets of the historic area of old Queretaro. Georgina works around the corner, and was more than happy for me to wander in and ask questions, as well as making some phone calls for me (my Spanish is very limited). I highly recommend Georgina's studio to anyone looking to stay in Queretaro.

  • Georgina is a doll and heaven sent!!! She could not be sweeter or easier to work with! Her studio is adorable!! Well located and well situated! Very historic and close to everything! Tons of shops, restaurants, plazas, churches and things to see and do just steps from the door. She works just a few feet from the apartment so is easily accessible if you need anything! If and when we return, we will definitely stay here again!
