Our open-concept 2BR condo is bright, clean and waiting for you! It can nicely accommodate 4 people (great for a family) for the holidays. Great location on quiet street just outside the Plateau. Short 15 min walk to Mont-Royal and close to several main bus stops.

The Space

Our lovely condo is available for rent for the full month of December, perfect for a family or 1 or 2 couples who are looking to have a big, private space for the holidays or just a relaxing winter vacation in Montreal.

We are looking for people to take good care and enjoy our space while we are away in Australia. We prefer to rent the full month to 1 group, however, we'd be open to weekly rental or several weeks, depending on your inquiry. Message me and we can work something out.

We have 2 bedrooms:
The master bedroom has 1 custom queen size bed, firm and super comfortable. It is extra long, so great for those over 6 feet tall!
The second bedroom has a comfy double fold-out bed (everyone always has a great nights sleep!). This room also serves as an office space with desk/chair and has a back door off the back balcony/fire escape. We can clean out the spare room closet to use.

Big bathroom with shower, bath tub, washer and dryer, laundry detergent. You could have a dance party in here, it's huge!
Bedroom and bathroom linens provided.
There is also an iron and ironing board for use.

The kitchen, dining room and living room are open-concept and very spacious, so you can chat with others in dining room/living room while you're cooking. Kitchen fully equipped with stainless fridge, stove-oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, rice cooker. We love cooking in the space, hope you do as well.

Big screen TV in the living room, with a great selection of shows and movies available to watch for a quiet night in.

WIFI Connection.

No smoking.

We can share 2 keys with you for entry. We also have an alarm which we will share details with guests to ensure all is secure when coming and going!

Guest Access

If you have a car, there is usually a parking spot or two free on our street (free).

Interaction with Guests

We will actually be away ourselves in Australia for the month using airbnb along the way, which is why our beautiful place is available to enjoy all to yourself! So we will be available via email from time to time should you need to contact us for anything at all and we'll be happy to help out in any way we can.

The Neighborhood

Montreal is awesome and we are surrounded by all the fun parts of town that you'll want to visit.

We are within walking distance to convenience stores (aka dépanneurs in Montreal), grocery stores, shops, restaurants, cafés, bakeries, bars - all can be found in 10-15 minute walk in any direction (Plateau, Mont-Royal, Rosemont, Masson, Beaubien). Have you seen 'brunch village' in the tv series Portlandia? Picture that in every neighborhood!

We can even suggest to you our favourite spots if you're looking for a 'local to do list'. We have fun here, so depending on what you're looking to do, we can give you suggestions!

Getting around

We are within a 5 min walk from several bus routes that come often - bus 197 on Rosemont goes to the Rosemont metro station (orange line), bus 47 on Masson goes to Laurier metro station (orange line), bus 45 or bus 10 goes north to blue line metro stations, or south to green line metro stations.

If you have a car, there is usually a parking spot or two free on our street (free).

We are just around the corner from a great bike path next to the railway tracks, if you want to do some cross-country skiing!

To get here from the airport, it's best to just grab a taxi outside the airport (which is very well run by the airport workers). It's convenient and should cost you around $40-$45 after tip (no flat rate will be offered as we're outside the plateau zone), but it ends up being only around $5 more.

  • Michelle and Laurent's condo is modern, beautiful and cozy. It's well situated between 3 great Montreal neighbourhoods: Rosemont, Beaubien & Laurier East.

The condo is roomy and open. It easily accommodates 4 people (2 in each room). The bathroom is huge and has both a big tub and a standup shower. The en-suite laundry was very convenient. Their fully equipped kitchen was wonderful to cook in. I would have loved to host dinner guests had I stayed longer!

I was lucky enough to have a my bike with me (you can rent a Bixi by the day beside their place!!!). Getting around by bike was great because their place is just a block away from the best bike lane in the city. It's basically a bicycle freeway that run East-West along the train tracks. It also connects to all of the North-South bike routes.

This condo is very good value and would be a great location anytime of the year. If you stay during the winter months, and you have the time, it would be great to cross-country sky along they snow-covered bike path. If yours is more of a business stay, the 197 Rosemont bus connects with the Orange metro line and can get you anywhere in Montreal easily.

I am from Prince Edward Island originally, the tiny province on the east coast of Canada, and have been adventuring around different parts of the world since, living in Australia, enjoying Thailand and Fiji along the way. I now live in Montreal with my boyfriend Laurent, and we call it home. Laurent is originally from south of France, and has done quite a bit of travelling and found himself settling in Montreal as well. There's something special about this place. My mother tongue is English and I'm fluent in French and Laurent the opposite - mother tongue is French and fluent in English! When we can, we love love love to travel, soaking up the cultures of other great places and meeting new fun folks! We enjoy good food, wine, spending time with friends, enjoying all that this great city has to offer. In summer, we can be found biking around town, having a picnic in the park. In winter, I love a good crafternoon with friends or we'll be watching an NBA game, one sport we cheer on together. We balance the fun by working hard as well - I am a Product Manager at a mobile app development studio and Laurent owns two mobile app development companies. We look forward to meeting you :)
