Welcome to the tree house bnb a great room ideal for a couple coming to Dublin city, with use of the guest s private bedroom, common room, kitchen and smoking room and just a 15 minute walk to the spire in the heart of Dublin city. This is a two bed house shared with myself, the guest room has an en suite private bathroom and a trap door for privacy. The kitchen and common room are shared and guests are free to cook etc if they wish and tea/coffee milk etc are supplied for guests

The space
The guest bedroom upstairs is finished in pine and has an en suite for guests, a trapdoor for privacy and fresh towels are provided daily.

Downstairs is a common room with Smart Tv and full cable package, dinning table and sofa which guests are welcome to use

Off the common room is a small kitchen with all mod cons from a gas stove, microwave, blender to a George Foreman grill which guests are welcome to use

The spire (city centre) is a 15 walk from the house. My home is also very close to Drumcondra train station, croke park, the botanic gardens, airport bus route and the garden of remembrance, DCU and the mater hospital

Guest access
Wi fi, smart tv, washing machine (free detergent and softener available), clothes horse for drying, middle shelf of the house fridge, ironing board and iron, common room with multi - table which can be configured to be a desk/dining table, smoking yard

Other things to note
Airport Arrivals

If guests are coming from the airport the best way to do so is to take the 16 or 41 which is a 24hour bus from the airport. It costs less than three euros each (you will need coins as the buses don t take notes). The bus stops at drumcondra station (there are also two drumcondra stops so be sure to take the second drumcondra station) which is opposite the red parrot bar and a 3 minute walk from my place. To get to my place from the bus stop walk in the same direction that the bus is travelling and take the next left(belvedere rd) you should see Brady s butchers and a little lane to the right of the building, follow the lane which leads you on to Sherrard Ave and my place is half way up on the right number 31

Check in/out times

I try to be as flexible as possible with check in and outs however I do work a full time job so I have to work around this. Though the check in time is 6pm I will leave a key at a close location (red parrot bar) should guests arrive early, they can pick up the key and check their bags into the common room and explore the city and return anytime after 6pm and your room will be ready. Guests checking out may also store their luggage in the common room should they be departing later and pick it up when it is convenient for them, I just ask that the room be vacated at noon for cleaning

Hi Everyone I’m a engineering technician working and living in Dublin city centre 9-5 during the week, I ve a small home close to everything and walking distance to the bus link to the airport. My place is perfect for couples on city breaks, as you ll be in one of the best areas to eat in drumcondra and socialise in Smithfield all on your doorstep as well as the city centre/Croke Park. Other than that please feel free to ask me anything as I know the city really well and can point you in the right direction. Also sorry about the late check in as I work full time but I allow guests check in bags before check in and provide early check in where possible and on the weekend its 2 pm. Also the shower and stairs are quiet narrow so it may not suit larger people Take care Regards Dwaine
