About this listing
Casa di Osio is a family run beautiful bright and welcoming B & B in the heart of the historic center of Siena. Completely renovated is located in an old building notified of 1313 in the initial part of the main street.
Casa di Osio was born thanks to Benedetta, an hotelier with long-time experience, who, together with her husband Matteo and her family, decided to create a cozy and hospitable B&B, reference point for those who want to discover the old town of Siena, and breathe its fascinating atmosphere, just like the famous middle-age travelers used to do..

Great!! We'd love to come stay again and the view from the room was incredible! Thank you!
We were met by Matteo. Very friendly host, no fuss. Nice room with an amazing view right in the middle of town. Delicious homemade cakes for breakfast, I think I tasted them all. A little walk from the closest parking if you arrive by car.
We had such a wonderful time in Siena at Casa di Osio! Our hosts were very welcoming, kind, and helpful. It was very easy to find the place from the train station and the location was perfect. Everything was as the website described and we found our accommodations perfect for what we needed. We loved Siena and can't wait to return again!
The location of Benedetta and Matteo's apartment couldn't have been more central for those arriving in and leaving Siena by bus. The steps to the Apartment are formidable but my daughter had no trouble carrying our large suitcase up.....and down again. Benedetta's welcome was warm, friendly and informative. The room was pleasant and spotlessly clean. We used a shared bathroom but did not see others around so it felt most private. The bathroom like the bedroom was spotless with great facilities. As Benedetto and Matteo share the floor of the Apartment building with their very young family in a separate area one got the feeling of living with a Sienese family. I really loved that aspect.
We also arrived in the midst of a heat wave and our room had a fan which was overwhelmed by the magnitude of its task. Sleeping was difficult but possible and whilst the oppressive heat in general took some of the shine off our time in Siena it was overall a lovely experience at Benedetta's and Matteo's.
Communication and assistance prior to our stay in relation to bus and train transport and timetables was prompt and helpful and of great assistance.
The b&b was beautiful with a stunning view from the breakfast table and our room was lovely with a cooler that was most welcome. Best of all was our host Matteo who went out of his way to help me and make us feel welcome. The breakfast was yum. Our stay in Siena was perfect!
My wife and I enjoyed everything from the central location to Matteo the host patiently sharing all his knowledge about the Palio to the magnificent view from our room, room 5, to the wonderful breakfast spread we enjoyed every morning. It was the perfect place for our stay in Siena during the Palio. I cannot recommend staying here enough especially if you are fortunate enough to be in Siena during the Palio.
Very nice House in a very nice centre location. Suggested If you want to stay in the old city near all the activities and attractions. One minor side note, the rooms tend to get really hot in summer and sleeping might be difficult because of noise from outside if you leave the window open.
