This is a cozy top-floor room on the corner of the Town Square with everything Tartu has to offer at only a few steps away. It comfortably accommodates two guests and most of the time you'll have the entire flat to yourself, as I'm usually in Tallinn.
The flat is located in the very heart of the city, just a 5-minute walk from the bus station. It is an original, unrenovated Soviet-era space without many amenities, but the greatest amenity it offers is the location and nice views of the main pedestrian street from the window. Tartu's cafes, bars, university, museums, and theaters are just downstairs, within a few hundred meters of our building. This is the liveliest area of the town, and the one in which you'll want to spend the majority of your time.
The flat is 65 m2, with two bedrooms, one of which will be yours to use (as well as the kitchen and bathroom). The furnishings are simple and dated, but there is a fully equipped kitchen, fast WIFI, and plenty of charm.
Interaction with Guests
I know the town inside out and am glad to direct guests according to their tastes and interests.
Affordable, really central location and comfortable bed. Jason was helpful and nice. Kitchen and bathroom were dirty.
The reservation was canceled 2 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Dirk is a really friendly guy even though I didn't meet him in person. Super nice location in the middle of everything. Would definitely recommend
Had a very pleasant stay in this appartment. Everything as advertised. Dirk is a friendly and hospitable host.
Dirk's place is in the very center of cozy Tartu, supermarket close, pool not far. It is in a building from the 1930s and has the feel of a lived-in place. Dirk was often away but always asked whether I needed anything. I felt at home.
