Daro's Enclave is an authentic family home on 60 perches of ancestral land in Kamburugamuwa, southern Sri Lanka. The beach is a 600-meter walk. The garden is filled with mature tropical trees.

This is not a luxury resort with a pool, room service, or multiple bathrooms. It is a real family home opened to a small number of guests each year who are looking for stillness, not spectacle. Far enough from the Mirissa crowds to feel like a different world, close enough to reach them in ten minutes.

Other things to note
This place is not for everyone.

Hi! I’m Thilanka Kaushalya, grandson of Daro, the matriarch who built our family home here in Kamburugamuwa. I grew up exploring the villa’s garden, climbing trees, and enjoying the beauty and calm of village life. After moving to Colombo, I’ve worked to share our ancestral home with guests from around the world, so they can experience authentic Sri Lankan culture, heritage, and hospitality.
